VI: My Sunshine?

Author's POV

As Tae and Yoongi were walking through campus, an alpha with a different demeanor than that of Jungkook approached the omega and his hyung.

"Hey Yoongi who's the handsome boy standing next to you?" Hoseok asked staring at Taehyung.

"He's someone very special to me Hoseok, so if you dont mind please get out of our way im trying to give him a tour of our school campus" Yoongi replied coldly.

"Whoa there angry, i just asked a simple question. Let the boy make friends no one would dare take him from you Yoongi your scent is all anyone a mile away can smell on him." Hoseok teased while smiling.

Taehyung felt at ease near this alpha, he didn't feel anxious nor like his guard should go up.

Hoseok approached Taehyung and extended his hand. "Hi, my name is Jeon Hoseok, i saw you coming out of the junior building and i'm a senior so that makes me your hyung. You can call me Hobi hyung. If you ever need someone to brighten up your day, just come to me i'll be your sunshine" Hoseok said through a smile that made Taehyung smile back.

"My name is Kim Taehyung, and im Yoongi's younger brother we're always together and im a sub alpha so thats probably why my brothers scent is so strongly permeated on me." Tae shook his hand

Hoseok immidiately knew he wanted this alpha to be his, he didn't care if he had to kiss Yoongi's ass to get close to Tae, he was going to make that happen.

Jungkook's POV

From afar Jungkook could see the scene of his brother taking Taehyung's hand in his, unfolding before his eyes, while Yoongi stepped aside.

What the hell is that? Why is Yoongi just watching them interact when he almost killed me with his gaze for merely speaking to Taehyung. He thought to himself.

Author's POV

Jungkook wanted nothing else than to touch the other alpha. He wanted to stare at him all day.

This was confusing as hell for Jungkook he doesn't particularly care for anyone he's had sex with so why does he want to approach this marked alpha so bad? An alpha that blatantly ignored him in class and ran to Yoongi.

Jungkook's fists once again started closing, his nails digging into the palms of his hands as he saw Taehyung smile back at Jungkook's own brother. His chest started tightening but he couldn't rip his eyes away from Taehyung.

Jungkook closed his eyes and counted to 10 when he opened them back up he saw his brother walking away with the 2 alphas. His fists loosened up and his chest felt heavy, he bit his lip and turned around to walk to the other way.

He promised himself he would make Taehyung his even if it meant fighting off Taehyung's current mate and his own older brother.

Taehyung's POV

Hobi hyung kept rambling off about nonsense but all i could focus on was Jungkook standing about 30 feet away from us. Why was he so focused on us? He stared at us the whole time we talked with Hobi. I could swear i saw his fists balling up, i started feeling uneasy, a surge of pain welling up in my chest.

I saw Jungkook close his eyes and i decided i wanted to continue with Yoongi's tour of my new school. We turned to face away from Jungkook and began to walk that way, we were 3 steps away from where we were originally standing when i felt en enormous sense of sadness in the pit of my stomach. 

I think im getting sick or the change in my routine is taking a physical and mental toll on my body. I need to see the nurse.

Yoongi accompanied me to the nurse's office and told me he would wait outside. I gave my name to the nurse who was standing by the doorway, and he told me he'd call for my nurse momentarily. I waited for no longer than 5 minutes before i was called in.

Before me stood one of the most beautiful men i had ever come across. A tall male, dark hair, light brown eyes, luscious lips, and wide shoulders if it weren't for his plain scent of driftwood  i would've sworn he was an omega.

"Good afternoon Taehyung, my name is Kim Seokjin, but you can call me Jin hyung and i'm the nurse that was hired specifically to cater to your needs. I am a beta so no need to fear me. What can i do for you today?" Jin said with the warmest smile i had ever witnessed.

"Hi Jin hyung, i've been having issues with my chest as soon as entered 1st period. It feels heavy for no reason. I start feeling sad out of the blue." I said

"You're 17 Tae right?" Jin asked

"Yes i turn 18 in December" i replied.

"As you approach your 18th birthday your body will prepare for your first heat, this mean you will sometimes feel fatigued, emotional, and even aroused for no reason especially now that you are surrounded by hundreds of alphas. Right now your scent is barely notable even with Yoongi not standing beside you, but thats only because you're a male omega. Male omegas tend to secrete very little scent before their first heat, but when they get their first heat the smell will be intense far more intense than a female omega who has been secreting scent since puberty hit them. And even your most trusted friends must stay away from you during these times. You will be offered suppressants that will faintly subside the effects of your heat, you must stay indoors and not go anywhere near alphas that aren't blood related to you because you will be forcefully marked, and that bond lasts a life time even if you don't want it you won't be able to refuse the alpha that mates and marks you." And with that Jin hyung finished warning me about stuff i already knew.

That didnt answer the question i still had in the back of my head. Why does this only happen when i look at Jungkook.

I couldn't possibly be Jungkook's mate. He hates omegas.
