"Damn nice job girl! You're going to get laid tonight" My childhood (and personal asshole) friend Marie say as we head out the driveway on our skateboards.
"It's not always like that!" I say acting offended, Marie proceeds to giggle at my attempt.
"Tell me one girl you started dating before going to bed with them" Her confidence was evident in the way she was standing on that board.
"None" Okey let me explain. It's not like I'm a play girl or anything it's just that I have a tendency to either catch feelings too fast or not at all. Also a lot of bi curious people come to me for, well, let's say answers.
"Told you!" Marie push me aside making me trip of my board. The older girl only laugh at that.
"Let's see who'll be laughing once we get to the skatepark shall we?" Marie was like me, an adventurer and came up with new challenges and skills all the time, so we decided to have a weekly skate date. Unfortunately for me Marie is a quick learner and always outrides me, but there's one thing that girl can not do and that's tricks, in any kind of way.
"That's just because I didn't have a good teacher! And who's fault is that stupid?" She mock me from afar. People may take it as harassment or her being mean or harsh, but it was just the nature of our friendship. Come on, if you don't roast or mock your friends, are you even friends?
"Watch that filthy mouth of yours Avgeropoulos or I might have to kick you between your legs!" Call it what you want but this is how we show love. Maybe I shouldn't have said that in front of a group of preschoolers though. Her only response was the finger, a classic.
We got to the skatepark relatively late due to our stop at target which someone had to take or she'd actually run herself over. It was me okey. I was the one forcing Marie to go to target.
"Get your ass over here and teach!" Marie was currently sitting on the payment with her feet dangling inside the pool.
"Okey you see two plus two is four" I say with a baby voice mocking the girl fully. She did not find it as hilarious as I did. "Don't be mad honey, maybe we can get some ice cream later" I continue in the same baby voice earning me a glare and a punch on the shoulder from the slightly stronger girl.
"I do not see what this Nadia person sees in you, well then on the other hand I don't see what anyone sees in you so" Marie tries to keep her cool but burst out laughing instead. It actually took us a hot minute to compose ourselves enough to stand up back on our feet.
"Go fuck yourself with a stick or something Avgeropoulos, I think you need it!" An old couple walk by giving us an even bigger laughter with their facial expressions. After we compose ourselves yet again I take my board and walk up the highest ramp. Marie looks at me curiously at first before her face turns into worry.
"(y/n) are you really going to do this? Shouldn't you start at a smaller level first?" The Canadian ask but I just brush her comments off. I had never gone down this ramp before and quite frankly I wasn't scared nor excited. I put my skateboard down so it's halfway out of the ramp. As I put my foot on the lose end I feel like it's going to end miserably. Instead of rolling down the ramp, I fall almost as instantly as I lose the grip of the wooden ground. My fall was nothing but painful, it was higher then I thought as my body hit the payment of the ramp.
"Oh my god (y/n)! Are you okey?!" Marie runs up to me as I try to lift my body up, only to realize that I probably broke my left arm. She help me up and over to the grass where I lay down on my back and slowly let the tears fall out of my eyes. Fuck.
