Nicole POV

I woke up and saw that I was cuddled in between Emily and Rose.

"Good morning" Rose said when she saw that I was awake

"Good morning, where did Alex go?" I asked sitting up and feeling sore but nothing to bad

"She went to pick up Serv from the airport" Emily said and I nodded as I got up

"Come on, let go eat. We all have a big day a head of us" Emily said picking me up and heading downstairs

"I can walk you know" I said

"I know" Emily said with a smirk

"Wait, you said big day. What's going on?" I asked looking between the two as they looked kinda shocked

"Alex didn't tell you?" Rose asked

"Tell me what, that she and Serv are trying to adopt me?"

"Well yeah, but you guys are meeting with the judge this afternoon to see if it gets approved. Several of us and you are going to have to speak to the judge" Emily said as I can tell they were trying to read my reaction

"Wow, so today is a big day" I said shocked and kinda nervous now

What if the judge says no? Then what?

We reached the kitchen and Emily sat me on a stool and I saw that a lot of people where in the kitchen

I looked around and meet the eyes of Kelley, who I haven't talked to since she read my file.

She instantly came over and pulled me into a hug which I instantly hugged back.

When she pulled away she gave me kiss on the forehead and I saw tears in her eyes

"I love you kid. I'll always be here if you need someone"

"Love you too" I said pulling her into another hug because she looked like she needed it

Once I pulled away, I looked around the room and stopped at Carli since she normally knows everything

"So what's the plan for today?" I asked Carli as Emily placed eggs in front of me and took a seat next to me

"We kinda already told her about the adoption hearing" Emily said with a guilty smile and the shook their head at the her and Rose

"Well then, Serv and Alex will be back here anytime now and then in two hours we will head to the court house" Carli said "also your outfit is in the closet of the room you slept in"

"Please tell me it's not a dress" I said causing everyone to laugh

"I'm going to take that as a yes" I replied as I finished my breakfast and Ash gave me my antibiotics and I refused to take the painkillers, much to everyone annoyance but they knew not to argue with me.

That's when I heard the front door open, which I assumed meant that Alex and Serv arrived.

I saw them walk into the kitchen and I gave them both smiles as they walked in which they returned.

"How are you feeling?" Alex asked

"Okay" I replied

"Want to go talk?" Serv asked and I could tell that he was nervous

"Yeah, want to head out back?" And with that we both headed to the back porch that was empty and took out seats.

"Nice to finally meet you in person" I said causing him to laugh
