Chin in the palm of your hand.
The other's holding mine.
We looked out to the sky.
A warm sunburst orange.
Finally, content out in those empty parking lots.
It's amazing.
This cloud gazing.
Always Friday vibes with you.
There's nothing I'd rather do.
Then watch the moon drink up the sun.
Vibin' out with you in red vinyl booths.
Late to that damn party.
But seeing you in this chrome and neon glimmer.
There isn't another man I'd rather have beside me tonight.
You've stung me once before.
Loverboy.
Yet still, I'm always back for more.
Each other's light in the night.
Starry-eyed.
Never waving goodbye.
That sweet firefly.
This charming lover boy.
I've waited for years and years.
Tears falling from everything I dreamed of.
My little light in the night.
My fiery flower.
Glowing even in these late hours.
Drowning out the sunset sinking away.
This is the moon I fell in love.
With the man, my heart's been thinkin' of.
