Derek's P. O. V
"Welcome to our humble abode" Mr Wright said as we came down from the car,I took in the surrounding,
"You have a beautiful home" I complemented, he looked at me "you've only seen outside and you've concluded, thanks anyways" he said grinning, "well.. I mean it looks homey" I added
"Wait till you get in" he winked.
The smell of lasagne hit my nostrils "hmm.. Smells good in here"
"I told you" he joked
"Thanks" a voice yelled from the kitchen, I turned to the kitchen and I saw her... Dressed in a shirt with a picture of some bunch of guys emblazoned on the front, and shorts with her hair packed up in a bun.
"Hi" she said smiling
"Hey" I replied, I didn't know what else to say it was awkward
"Okay, let's eat" Mr Wright came to our rescue *sigh*
We ate creating small talks every now and then.
"I'm glad your back" she told me
"Me too, i hate hospitals" I said sipping my juice and looking up to find them staring at me like I had grown another head.. I touched my neck to be sure, and then my face well I still had two eyes, a nose and a mouth.
"What's wrong" I asked shifting uncomfortably on the chair
"You said you hate hospitals" She told me
"Uhm yeah, maybe hate is a strong word Buh.... " I trailed off chuckling
"No no, dummy I meant you remembered" she stated like it should've been obvious.
"Oh.. Yeah" I said blankly
"What's wrong.. You should be happy its all coming back" she looked into my eyes like she could see right through "well.. I should've remembered something important not this" I pushed back my seat
"Please excuse me" and I walked out
I heard the door open and then she came up beside me "you never told me what you thought about dinner" she smiled
"Twas wonderful" I smiled as she blushed "thanks" we we're silent for awhile and then she spoke up,
"You know you shouldn't force it" she stated looking up at me
"I know, its just I want to remember badly.. then I won't be your burden anymore" i looked at her
"Well we ain't complaining, and you're not a burden" she took my hand in hers, her hand was soft, she looked soft with the moonlight casting a glow on her face, 'she's pretty' I thought
"You don't have to complain... You've done a lot for me already, I don't know how to repay that" I sighed "well I do... You'll be working with me here in the ranch" she smiled, I laughed
"Oh really"
" yeah really, you can't be eating my food for free old man" she joked
"Oh okay" I chuckled
"Your fat ass gon' work for it" she added smiling
She really was pretty, the way her dimples appeared anytime she smiled and her lips.. Lord help me I wanted to kiss her.
"What.. " she asked smiling
"You're beautiful " I told her, her hands left mine immediately and went to her neck..I felt cold at the loss of contact, did I say that out loud. I felt bad, was I too forward, but at the same time I felt wierd, like it wasn't something I was used to doing.
"I'm sorry I didn't know I said that out loud, it was supposed to stay in my head for a while longer.. " I apologised, at least that was what I thought I was doing till I realized I was just blabbing so I clamped my mouth shut. Just then I saw it.. She was blushing, I smiled.
"I'll just go in... Goodnight" she said and turned
"Yeah goodnight" I replied her
"Idiot, don't fuck up" i muttered to myself

Sunlight streamed in through the blinds
"Ugh" I groaned as I covered my head with my pillow that was eventually yanked off me.
"Get up..... Work starts tomorrow, I'll show you around today" she said placing the pillow back on the bed which I snatched immediately pouting... Yeah I know am a child... You don't need to tell me
She placed her hand on her hips with a no nonsense look, I huffed "fine" I stood up to go to the bathroom and paused turning around, I assessed her, she was wearing a black sundress with red roses and her hair combed back and held up in place with a band.
"Wow... You look... nice" I said choosing my words so I don't scare her off.
"Thanks" she blushed looking everywhere but me
"Imma go so you can... " she said waving her hands in circular motion towards me then gesturing to the bathroom
"Okay" I said as she walked out
i needed to recover my memory fast cuz the longer I stay here the harder it'll be for me to keep my hands to myself.

Tessa's P. O. V
I left his room blushing, o lord help me, that guy is hot. Walking into his room this morning, I saw him on his bed cuddling his pillow, he looked so peaceful and then, when he woke he just looked so handsome with his morning hair and his shirt was sooo glued to his body, I blame my dad for buying tight clothes. I have to brace myself, he's just like every other guy, he may not know it but that's it, I cant let my guard down.

Derek's P. O. V
Tessa took me around the ranch showing me stuffs and introducing me to people, then we came by a lake, I turned to look at her, her eyes closed, breathing in.
"Stop staring" she said, I was taken aback I swear
"How'd you know" I asked "cuz I can feel it" she replied "how" I asked again
"I can't explain but I do feel it" she said eyes still closed.
"I love this place" she said after minutes of awkward silence... On my part actually.
"Why" i suddenly seemed curious
"Cuz.... " she opened her eyes "breathe in" I did
"It smells of sunlight, lily's and sunflowers and its peaceful" she explained Buh it didn't feel complete, she looked really involved with the place
"Theres more right" I asked
"Maybe" she gave me a cocky grin
"Your boyfriend brings you here" I tried to lighten my voice but I couldn't help but feel uneasy at the question, I pushed it aside tho
“No boyfriend, not anymore” she said looking away, I breathed a sigh of relief
"Well... Your ex" I pushed
"Don't push it Derek, there are things about me you'll have to do without knowing" she added still not looking at me
"Well I would do anything I can to unravel the mystery behind the amazing Tessa" I joked and she turned to me smiling
"I'll like to see you try" she turned to face the river again and we fell into a comfortable silence.
She turned to go then paused to look at me"you can find your way back right" I nodded
"Alright then... I'll see you during dinner" then she moved leaving me to my thoughts.
