Stepping inside Jack's house which was pretty much Joelle's house too at this point, the curly haired girl couldn't help but notice the red rose petals that were scattered across the floor. They were left as a trail and by the looks of things, they were leading her towards the bedroom.

"Did you do this to get me to have sex with you?" Jack had just thrown his keys into the dish by the door and when he heard Joelle ask the question, he was scared to face her. She was small but she was also mighty when she needed to be.

"Uh, John said it was a good idea." The first thing the Brummie boy could think to do was blame his best friend for any sort of trouble that he could be in.

"Why? Jack, you didn't have to do all this just for sex," the soft smile on her face told Jack that everything was just fine and that he wasn't going to be spending the night on the couch.

"I thought you didn't want to have sex with me." He muttered, feeling slightly embarrassed and Joelle simply shook her head at him.

"You're ridiculous," the curly haired girl grabbed her boyfriend's hand and followed the trail of rose petals.

"It's not that I didn't want to have sex with you, I was just nervous to do it again." Joelle explained to Jack as they stood outside the bedroom door. It was Jack's bedroom but Joelle pretty much shared it with him now since she was always staying over with him.

"Last time we had sex, you left me a week later. Before you say anything, I know you're not going to do that again, I just wanted to take things a bit slower this time." When the smaller girl explained her reasoning, Jack felt bad. He had hoped that she didn't feel pressured because if she wanted to wait, he would be more than happy to do that. he loved her and only wanted the best for her.

"I'm sorry Jojo, I didn't mean to-" the brunette boy didn't get much of a chance to finish with his apology because Joelle's tanned finger was now covering his lips.

"Shh, you know how you can make it up to me?" Jack looked down and saw the mischevious look in Joelle's chocolate eyes. His eyebrows knitted together, unsure as to where she was going with this.

"Bedroom." She went to open the door and when Jack stood frozen in shock in the doorway, Joelle could only laugh.

"Now, Grealish!" Her soft voice called and the Brummie boy wasted no time in scrambling into the bedroom where he finally got to make love to his girlfriend.

"Baby?" Joelle's voice broke the comfortable silence between herself and her boyfriend. They were both tired after their night of physical activity and Jack was lying with his head on Joelle's stomach, her hand in his as he played with her fingers.

"Hmm?" He responded, listening to whatever she had to say. He pulled her hand up to his lips and kissed it softly.

"Have you ever thought of moving in together? We lived together for three months and we practically live together now." The curly haired girl had a point. They were inseparable and it would make sense for them to live together.

"You want to move in?" Jack had turned his full attention to his girlfriend, sitting up and moving to sit next to her. "Because I am one hundred percent up for that." The smile that was on his face was enough to let Joelle know that she would officially be moving in with the star footballer soon.

"I can't wait to be able to see your face every morning when I wake up." Jack smiled at his girlfriend, seeing as her cheeks turned a light shade of pink from his compliment.

"And I can't wait to see your messy hair every morning." Joelle ran a hand through his highlighted hair, laughing as he tried to move away from her touch.

"Jack! It's a mess anyway, just let me play with it." The curly haired girl groaned. Jack couldn't help but to give in to the girl's pleas and so he placed his head on her chest and let her run her hands through his soft, unstyled hair.

The couple decided to spend the rest of the evening in bed, watching old football highlights, something that they had done for many years together.

"Can you pass my my glasses?" Joelle realised that her glasses were all the way over on the dressing table on the side of the room that Jack was closest to.

"I can't believe you need glasses now. How come you don't need them to watch High School Musical?" Jack teased his girlfriend as he got up and retrieved her glasses before sitting on the bed next to her, his arm wrapping around her bare shoulders.

"I do but I choose not to. The footballers are tiny on the screen so in order to actually see what's going on, I need them." The girl huffed at her boyfriend's teasing, still not having her glasses since he was keeping them out of her reach.

"Stop being a dick and give me my glasses! I can't see who scored!" The smaller girl hit her boyfriend's arm lightly and he finally caved, giving her her glasses.

"I love you." He murmured into her hair. He was content being able to talk about and watch football with her was something that he had always wanted in his future partner. It was a passion of his and he never wanted to be restricted.

"I know, I love you too." Joelle finally cuddled into Jack, his bare torso radiating heat and keeping her warm.

Joelle felt happiest when she was with Jack and she felt the safest and most comfortable when she was wrapped up in his arms.

They could sit and do absolutely nothing together but it was okay because as long as they were both together, they didn't mind.
