Third Person's POV

Min kyu fixed his polo and looked at his self at the mirror. This is a very special day for Minsun, his best friend.

"Min kyu!" Jeongin shouted

Min kyu ran downstairs and saw Jeongin and Jinah already dressed up. He is going to the said venue to witness everything. Jeongin, Jinah, Jisung, Changbin, Seungmin and Jiyeon are going there too.

"You guys go first" Min kyu

"Okay. Make sure to go there now" Jeongin

Min kyu smiled and watched them leave. He sat on the couch and sighed. He is hurting his self but he doesn't have a choice. He wants to witness how beautiful Minsun's smile will be.

Haneul calling...

"Yes?"

[Can you pick her up for me? I'm still taking care of the other things here]

"Okay"

[Thank you, Min kyu]

"No problem. I told you as long as it's for Minsun. I am willing to do everything"

[But still, thank you]

"I need to go now" Min kyu ended the call and left the house. He drove to Minsun's house.

When he arrived there, he saw from the window that Minsun is waiting. He rang the doorbell and Minsun quickly opened the door.

"Why are you here? I am too busy. I will meet Haneul today" Minsun

"He told me to pick you up" Min kyu

"He did? Okay, let's go" Minsun locked the door and hop in the car

Min kyu drove to the venue where the engagement will happen. A lot of things are going through his mind. He wants to say something but he can't. He doesn't want to ruin the wedding.

"O-Oh? W-Where's the bracelet?" Minsun

"Huh? Bracelet?" Woojin

"I saw you wearing a bracelet yesterday. It has the same design like mine" Minsun

"I-I didn't wear any bracelet yesterday" Min kyu lied

"Are you sure? I really saw it" Minsun

"Yeah, I don't wear bracelets" Min kyu

"Isn't it weird? We have the same teddy bear. I saw it on your instagram account. I really saw the bracelet. We have the same bracelet. T-The diary, did you really stole it? Or not?" Minsun

"I didn't really stole it" Min kyu

Minsun looked at him with full hopes.

"I just found it on the street. I thought it was pretty interesting" Min kyu added

Minsun sighed and stayed quiet.

"Anyways, do you like Haneul? Don't get me wrong. I just want to know" Min kyu

"Yes, we've been together for years now" Minsun

"Are you happy?" Min kyu

"Hmm, yeah? Hahaha. I am always happy" Minsun smiled

"I see. That's good" Min kyu whispered trying not to cry

The two of them stayed quiet. Minsun doesn't know why does it feels weird. But she knows something was wrong.

"A-Aren't you really the owner of the diary?" Minsun

Min kyu wants to tell the truth but he can't. He suddenly remembered that he is aiming for Minsun's happy and peaceful life in the future.

"No, hahaha. I am too old for a diary. Besides, if I will have a diary, I will probably put a lock on it. I won't let anyone have it" Min kyu

"Do you have a best friend?" Minsun

Min kyu parked the car and smiled "He is waiting for us, especially you. So, you should go first. I'll follow you"

Minsun nodded and opened the door when Min kyu held her hand "Hmm? Why?"

"Please, be happy" Min kyu whispered

Minsun didn't answered and got out of the car. Min kyu's tears fell from his eyes. He never thought that the girl he loves will be engaged to someone and not to him. Min kyu watched Minsun entered the venue from his car. He wiped his tears and got out of the car. He entered the venue and saw Minsun in the middle staring at Haneul who is standing at the stage.

"Why are you late?" Jisung asked his friend

"Nothing. I'm not feeling well" Min kyu answered

"I didn't think this day will come. That the girl you only love will marry someone and not you" Seungmin

"That's what love means for me. It's all about sacrificing the girl you like even though it will hurt you" Min kyu

"We can drink after this" Jiyeon

"No, I don't need to drink. I am really fine. I just need some time" Min kyu

"I know you are shocked. But please listen to whatever I say..." Haneul

"This may sound weird but I feel so happy when I saw you again. When we stopped communicating, I felt hopeless. I thought you won't come back. But you did. I told myself that I will marry you whatever happens, even if the world is against us. You are the most precious woman I've ever had. You are the girl who gave me hope and helped my find my dream. You helped me a lot. I don't know what to do, to pay back what you did for me. I like you- no, I mean I love you ever since you promised to stay with me. And I loved you even more when you spent everyday with me. I've always wanted this day to come. The day that I will ask you to marry me and say yes. The day that we will officially promise we will marry each other. This chicken bear you always tease a lot and make fun of. This chicken bear loves you so much and is willing to give up everything just for you. You are the girl I want to be with, forever. This day, in front of everyone, in front of our family and friends. I want to ask your hand and say..." Min kyu whispered

"Will you marry me?" Haneul asked

"Be happy with him" Min kyu smiled
