Symphony of the Tracks

If you should ever, by any chance or part,

Ever embark on a journey, by a train depart,

Just lay back and enjoy the musical harmony,

On the train on the track,

a marvellous symphony.

Clatter, she gildes on the winding old track,

Chasing the night away, bringing the morning light.

Carrying with her the dreams and hope,

Of working men and women, this new day to cope.

To whomever is feeling down,

Calm down and listen,

To the train gliding down the track,

That shine and glisten.

And the rattling and clanging and clapping of tracks,

Almost as if a big audience were cheering,

Telling the passengers: "you can!"
