Chapter 19

Shoto says we should wait outside, which pisses me off of course, but I listen because I don't want to interfere with anything that'll save Ei... if he is here.

Shoto slowly opens the door and peeks in. He slips inside and we wait.

There is no noise until I hear a strangled grunt a soft gun shot and then...

"Todoroki? You're here?"

That voice! THATS EI'S VOICE! I jump up and burst through the door.

My eyes first find Shoto with a passed out, handcuffed Enori.

They then blink to the small cell in the room to see my Red.

He looks at me with wide eyes and a huge smile erupts onto his face. We both burst into tears and I run up to the cell bars.

Ei hops off the bed, slowly though as he clutches his abdomen.

We hold each others hands as we sink to the floor.

"Eijirou!"

I cry so hard as he looks at me, the love shining in his eyes.

"Kat!"

There is a presence behind me who then moves to the cell door and unlocks it.

I race into the now open door and engulf my lost love in my arms.

We continue to cry as we hold each other.

I pull apart only slightly to hold his very swollen belly.

I let out a happy sob as I kiss his belly. He giggles and caresses my cheek.

I look up at him and smash our lips together. We both moan into the kiss and God how I've missed these lips and that sound.

I hear Shoto's voice in the background. Talking to someone about a helicopter and backup.

"Oh my God Ei. I've missed you so fucking much! I thought you were dead!"

"Oh my goodness Kat! I've missed you too!"

My eyes dart to his bandaged arms and slightly bruised face.

My stomach churns as I see the pain in his eyes as I hold him.

I loosen my hold on him making him frown.

"Baby, did that asshole hurt you?!"

His lips squeeze together and he nods slightly.

I growl and turn around to see the knocked out Enori on a bed. I jump up and even though I know he can't entirely feel it, I punch him in the nose and balls.

"Kat!"

I race back to Ei and bring him back into my arms.

I kiss him more gently this time, embracing the feeling.

I place my forehead onto his as we catch our breaths.

Todoroki comes slightly into the cell.

"Hey guys. The helicopter is here to take Kiri to the hospital."

I nod and get up, picking Ei up with me. Carrying him bridal style out of the cell and up the stairs.

We walk outside to be welcomed by the bright night stars.

"Wow."

Ei looks up at the sky and takes in a deep breath.

"I haven't seen the sky in so long."

Those words break my heart and make my blood boil at the same time.

He must have gone through so much shit and I couldn't do anything.

A tear rolls down my cheek, but I only noticed as Ei rubs it away.

"Don't cry baby. I'm just thankful that you're here now."

I frown sadly and kiss his lips again.

We walk to the helicopter and I place him gently in and buckle him up.

We ride to the hosiptal, never letting each other go.

Once we reach the hospital Ei is emitted into a room and doctors immediately start their check ups.

They take off all his bandages and I bite my finger at the fresh scars.

They re-apply fresh and clean bandages to his arms.

They take blood and check his blood pressure.

Now its time to check our baby.

I hold his hand and rub circles on the roof of his hand as the doctor rubs the monitor over the cold cream on his big belly.

We watch the screen and I cry as we see our baby.

"Well, it looks like your baby is healthy. Nothing is wrong."

The doctor smiles at us as we silently cry.

"Would you like to know the gender?"

We look at each other and shake our heads.

Another doctor knocks on the door and smiles.

"I tested the serum that was injected into Mr Kirishima and it was not harmful to his system. It was only liquefied sleeping tablets."

Relief washes over me and I kiss Ei's nuckles.

The doctors leave, wanting to give us space.

"Oh Ei. I'm so sorry."

"Katsuki. Stop it. There is nothing to be sorry about."

"But you got so hurt! You got kidnapped and Enori faked your death."

He smiles softly and places his hand onto my cheek, which I instinctively lean into.

"Baby please. None of that was your fault. It was all Enori's fault. He did that, not you."

He pulls me in for a gentle kiss.

"I love you Kat. There is nothing that you need to apologize for. Understand?"

I nod and kiss him again as the tears fall out of our eyes again.

I look up at his hair and chuckle.

"I see the black hair now."

His roots are quite visible. He blushes making me laugh.

"Its cute. But you will always be my Red."

"Yes I will be. And you will always be my angry pomeranian."

"Excuse me? Angry what?"

I scowl at him as my voice raises. He laughs at me of course and pinches my nose.

I roll my eyes and shake my head, but of course a smirk appears on my face.

I'm so happy he's back in my arms. My world has now revived and I'm so full... well almost.

I smile down and hug his belly. He runs his hand through my hair as we fall asleep in this position.
