Tyler had a strong grip on my wrist, and I knew bruises would surely form by morning. "Where are we going?" I already knew the answer but it pained me to believe I had just created someone's death sentence.

Tyler didn't respond and within a few moments we were at the barn door. He harshly yanked the doors open, and turned on the blinding lights. Everyone had been curled up in a corner, sleeping together for body warmth, but they all quickly made their way to their feet as soon as the lights came on.

Without a peep, Tyler chained my hands to one of the various bars along the wall, and stomped his way towards the new girls they had kidnapped. I couldn't remember if they had names. Tears began streaming down my face, worried at what was going to happen.

It seemed like the others knew something I didn't, minus the new girls. Tyler grabbed them by fistfuls of their hair, and they screamed as he dragged them to the center of the barn.

"No!! Please!!" They shouted, snotty tears running down their bodies.

Tyler whistled and the others gathered around them in a circle, stopping the girls from escaping. Mournful looks crossed their faces. I had stopped crying at this point. I was more curious as to what could possibly be happening.

"You heifers aren't supposed to talk to us humans. You are beneath us. You are our food. You two dumb cows got unlucky. If it would've been someone else you spoke too, we might have just beat you within an inch of your life. But since you spoke to Blair, it's time for your life to end." Confusion spread across their faces but no words came out. They looked at me and guilt crossed my own face. I had lied but I had lied to protect my childhood friend.

He looked at me and nodded with a sad expression. He understood my sacrifice.

Tyler whistled once more and the mania began. I began screaming, begging him to stop, but he just smiled and watched as if I wasn't there.

The others began stomping on the two girls in the middle of the circle, ferociously, like a herd of wild cattle being brought into a pasture. The girls screams quieted after a few gruesome minutes.

I immediately became sick, and quickly spun around, releasing the bile that had crawled it's way up my throat.  Tyler left the barn, going to get help to move the bodies I was presuming, and I slid onto the ground.  Ryder quickly rushed to my side, and brushed my  hair out of my face.  "Are  you okay?"

I laughed quietly, shrugging my shoulders.  "I just killed them,  Ryder.  Me.  It is my fault they are dead."  Their was some shuffling coming from outside and Ryder quickly returned to the group, stealing a quick glance my way before settling the group.  Tyler walked in and came over to me, kneeling down in front of me.

"This is your punishment.  I know you were lying to me Blair-bear, and I  will find out who you have really been talking too.  But for now, you can stay here while we go hunting.  All of us are leaving.  We will be back in a few hours.  I want you to sit here and think about what you have done to our family.  Think about your lies, and tell me the truth when I get back, or you won't like the outcome.  Is that understood?"  I simply nodded my head, too  afraid to say anything in response for fear of outing myself further.  I had no idea how Tyler knew the truth, but an unsettling feeling had made its way into my stomach.  Not only did two people die because of me, it was guaranteed someone else would die too.

Tyler kissed my forehead and left without another word.  We all were silent, staring at each other with a cold regard.  I was sure they hated me, and truth be told, I hated myself  for what I had done.  After a few more agonizing minutes of silence and being unsure, we heard the rumbling of the truck, as Tyler and his  parents left to go hunting.  I made out three figures in the truck as  they drove by, and felt a little relief.  Everyone visibly sighed and made their way over to me.

I didn't  know what to expect, but I was definitely afraid of what was to come.
