Merlin couldn't keep the scowl off her face. Who did that woman think she was? Telling her what to do.

The girl scoffed bitterly as she wandered the halls. Of course, the woman thought that because Merlin was nothing but a commoner that she had every right to have the girl dance to her whims. A dangerous look crossed the girl's face at the thought.

She wasn't someone to dance to the beat of someone else's drum.

With a scowl, she asked one of the guards to point her towards Sir Olwen's chambers and the poor man nearly pissed his pants at the thunderous look on her face.

Huffing she knocked on the wooden door, she heard some stumbling before the door swung open. A man with mousy brown hair and a balding head opened the door, his eyes were hooded and unseeing.

"Um, I brought you your medicine," Merlin informed the man holding out the vile. The man held out his hand yards away from where she held it and the young woman wanted to clobber herself over the head with a mallet when she remembered the man in front of her was blind.

"Sorry," she apologized and the man let loose a chuckle as she gripped his worn hand in her own placing the vile of yellow liquid in his hand.

She turned to leave when she remembered what Gaius said, "Oh, Gaius said not to drink it all at—." Too late the man had begun to down all the contents and Merlin grimaced pinching the bridge of her nose as she watches him slurp up every last drop.

Smiling awkwardly she mumbled, "I'm sure it's fine," she waved it off. "Well, I'll be off then."

With that Merlin all but ran off, she'll be damned if she was standing there if the poor man dropped.

Seeing as she had finished with what Gaius wanted she thought about going and grabbing Edwyn so they can go through the shops in the town, but first, she decided to get a better look at the castle.

Merlin walked out into one of the outer courtyards of the castle and noticed a group of knights standing around and scowled.

Knights, she thought bitterly as she watched their arrogant expressions. Always think they're the best of the best.

"Where's the target?" Her attention moved to the right of her spotting a blonde young man standing among the knights in training and Merlin found her frown deepening. She would have said the man was handsome were it not for the absolute expression of cockiness that marred his face.

She watched the scene in front of her silently.

She saw the man was addressing one of the servants, most likely his own who was holding a shield branded with the pendragon sigil. The servant frowned motioning over to the target that he had set up. "There, sir?"

"It's into the sun."

Merlin huffed out a silent breath her hand resting on the hilt of her dagger as she watched on, her scowl planted firmly in place.

The servant looked up before looking at the knight, "Well," he stated, "It is not that bright."

The blind smiled patronizingly, "A bit like you then?"
