Come on Charlie. Let me put you in this costume, I said.

No Mommy, She said

Charlie Kellie Bouvier get back here young lady, I said.

Jack, Can you help Charlie get into her costume, She won't let me do it, I said.

Sure, He said.

Can Daddy help you get into your costume, Jack said.

Sure, Daddy, She said.

Jackie, I got charlie into her halloween costume, He said.

Thank you so much, Jack, I said.

Are you ready for trick or treating, I said.

Yes, Charlie said.

Trick or treat, Charlie said as she holds out her bag.

Aw, little cowgirl, So adorable, A lady said.

Here you go, little girl.

Come on Charlie, We need to go to the next house, I said.

Ok mommy, She said.

I grab her hand as we walk to the next house.

I stand by Jack. As Charlie goes up to the house to get candy again.

Let mommy see your bag, I said.

Here you go mommy, She said.

I look threw the bag and grab a chocolate bar.

Did you have fun tonight trick or treating, I said.

Yeah, I did mommy, She said.

Let's get you ready for bed, I said as I help her in her nightgown.

Goodnight, I love you, honey, I said as I cover her with a blanket.

I turn the lights out as I close the door.

Why don't you go to bed, Jack said .

It's only 11:00 pm, I said.

I lay my head on his shoulder.

Jack look at me .

I was never this tired. When I was pregnant with Charlie, I said.

Did your ex-fiance ever help you, He asked?

When I had found out that I was pregnant with Charlie. I told John that I was pregnant and he left me. I was alone for the whole pregnancy and I had to raise my daughter by myself until I had met you, I said.

You deserve so much better than him Jackie. I would never leave you, I love you too much to hurt you and I love charlie as if she was my own, my daughter, Jack said.

Since we are getting married soon, I will change my last night to yours, I said.

What if Charlie changes her last name to Kennedy, I said.

Really, Jack said.

Charlie Kellie Kennedy.

It had a nice ring to it.

We were at the courthouse. Today charlie is getting her last name change to Kennedy.

Congratulations Charlie is now a Kennedy, The Lady said.
