CHAPTER 5

THIRD PERSON POV

"Gde ty!" Raven screeches, yes the three-hundred something pound man is screeching, through the phone. (Where are you)

In the background, I can here Gabriel ranting at the top of his lungs, Harley trying to defuse the situation with Gabriel, and Morgan watching yet another episode of Spongebob.

Somehow, over the past week that I had been in Charleston, South Carolina, both men had moved into my two-bedroom hotel room. Quickly making me consider purchasing a house in the nearby or at least buying the damn hotel so I would be able to get more rooms.

I don't know about you, but living in a hotel room with a toddler who knows how to make bombs, a freaking GIANT with a gun obsession, and a shopaholic that puts me to shame is not something for the faint of heart. Poor Harley had moved to the hotel down the street the first night.

Though, thankfully, both the boys were able to put up with Morgan, though neither one of them knew exactly what she was talking about half the time. I hadn't been able to stop her from calling them Daddy. She knows who our father is, but the simple fact is she has never met him.

We discussed it a few nights ago and in the end, she said that "Dad will always be her Dad, but for right now she needs someone to play Dad until Dad can come back and be Dad."

So it's pretty much a temporary deal, which is cool except both Raven and Gabriel love being called Daddy by the kid and have spoilt her even worse. In a week. Raven took her to the gun range yesterday (which was highly supervised - Gabriel was literally handcuffed to me).

Then Gabriel, who like I mentioned was a much worse shopaholic than I am, had already spent half a million just this week. And don't worry, he didn't spend it on himself either. No, he went through and tossed all the clothes on my jet, restocking it with what he deemed acceptable, tossed all my clothes in my luggage, which was once again restocked, then tossed all of Morgan's and Raven's stuff before restocking.

Of course, there was that trip to the car dealership, two vehicles where bought. One for Gabriel and Raven to use, which Raven crashed while we were still at the dealership. He is no longer allowed to drive, except in chase situations. And another for me, which I was planning on crashing into Gabriel's leader's house. But I didn't want to buy another one, so now the vehicle for crashing is our everyday vehicle for in Charleston.

Though, honestly, if we are going to be staying here much longer I am going to buy a house. Something simple, obviously. It'll probably have a few stories, maybe a couple of acres, a nice indoor and outdoor pool, a couple of car garages, and movie theater. A bonus would definitely be a skating rink or bowling alley. Like I said, something simple.
