The morning went on uneventfully, by now your new sleeping schedule had broken in and you would be late to school a lot less. But that didn't stop your friends from being late to walk with you. Josuke and Okuyasu were the type that were slow to start in the morning, but then hyped when they get together. However today Okuyasu had gone off to school already. (Strange usually they always walk together...) you thought as you waited on josukes lazy ass. (Damn what taking him so long) you think as you raise your hand to knock again. Before you could knock Josuke opens the door and steps out. "Hey!" He says almost intelligibly because of the toast hanging out of his mouth. Josuke quickly wolfs down his toast before he continues to talk to you. "I had Okuyasu go on ahead..because I wanted to talk to you..." Josuke says becoming a tinge more serious. (Talk to me? Alone like this?! Why!) you think very confused. "Yeah? What do you want to talk about..?" You ask . Josuke smiles and then blushes a little. "So..yesterday....I saw you....I think I saw you......" Josuke pauses noticing your face was becoming more flushed as you realized what he was talking about. (Dammit I thought we hid fast enough!) you think embarrassed.) "a-anyway..I saw you with Rohan...what's up? Are you dating him?" Josuke says locking eye contact with you. "D-dating.?! It was nothing like that! He just asked a favor of me is all." You respond a bit flustered. "A favor where you two share a desert?" Josuke asked a bit skeptical. "Yes !" You say becoming a bit flustered and turning away. Josuke raises a brow and touches your shoulder. "If it was just a favor...ehh are you so flustered.." Josuke says poking his head over your shoulder. "No reason! It's just a bit embarrassing to be caught with an older man...." you say reasoning with the weird emotions you were having in this moment. Josuke laughs. "Ha I guess you're right...that is embarrassing...it's even more embarrassing if I find out you are dating said older man..~" Josuke says with a smirk. "W-We are not! I was helping him with his manga..that's all!!" You say feeling your face heat up a little both in embarrassment and frustration. "R-really..well Rohan is quite picky with who he chooses to inspire his mangas....you must be special!" Josuke concludes as he boops your nose. (Special? Special how? I seriously don't get why Rohan would choose to use me as his..well muse...) you think as Josuke drags you to school. (Is he really that picky with who he uses in his mangas? I thought he just drew everything he saw..) you think As you recall the many manga issues you have read by Rohan. "Yeah you just have inspired him some how.." Josuke says "hehe maybe by being such a clutz!" Josuke adds before starting to run away knowing your response would be to punch him. "Get back here and take the pain!" You say as you run after Josuke. "Haha no way!" Josuke says in response as he runs through the thankfully still open gate. Josuke lets you catch up with him so you can finally deliver your punch, which was now much softer that you wanted because you expended so much energy trying to catch up with him. The two of you then go to class to meet up with Okuyasu. Josuke sits next to you and smiles again. "What's with the dumb look.." you ask skeptical. "Well I was thinking we could both go and pick up the next issue of Rohan's manga a chance meeting together!" Josuke says still with the same dumb smile on. "Oh oh yeah I remember! That puzzle!" Okuyasu adds. "Seems like we are both going!" Josuke says and he and Okuyasu both put their arms Round your shoulders at either end. "Ugh fine..I was going to go anyway.." you respond. "Haha I knew it!" Josuke says with a laugh. You feel your face grow hot as you think about later. (Dammit Rohan's totally going to write about the bakery in That issue that's what he wanted inspiration for right? and he's change it up..Josuke will get the wrong idea because he saw me there with him!!! ) you think feeling a bit flustered. (I just can't let them really read it that's it!) you think as you tune back into class.
The last class went by rather slowly. You felt nervous in the bit of your stomach knowing that inside of Rohan's manga there's would be the baker scene at Josuke had witnessed for a moment. You fall out of your thoughts when Josuke grabs your hand. "Cmon lets go!" Josuke says pulling. you down the stairs along with Okuyasu. "Alright alright I'm coming!" You say as you catch your breath. "The book aren't gonna fun off the shelves." You add. "Well it is a Rohan book..so they might..." josuke replies. "WHAT?!" You say all of a sudden and then grab their hands and start to run. "Haha I knew you were excited about it!" Josuke says. "Shut up !" You respond.
One you all arrive Okuyasu starts to look around. "OI ....I'm not finding any copies...." he says. "They can't be sold out already!" Josuke says as he starts to frantically look around. (What no way I can't have missed an issue!) you think . (Dammit why do I care so much!?) you think starting to feel embarrassed that you felt sad that you may have missed it. Josuke turns to you and blushes a bit. "D-dont cry we'll find one I'm sure..." Josuke says rubbing the back of his head with. Nervous laugh. "I'm not gonna cry..." you say as you bite your lip embarrassed he saw right through you. (Ugh I'm not about to cry over a manga...even one that's made by that guy!) you think feeling your cheeks get hotter with each thought. You Jouske, and Okuyasu then start to look closer at the empty shelf. You and Josuke reach your hand behind it hoping by chance one slipped. Just as you were about to give up hope, you fingers slide against something glossy, without a doubt it was a manga cover, but was it the manga? (Only one way to find out.) you think as you gently pull try to pull it out. "Did you find something?" Josuke says running over. "Y-yeah! But I can't seem to get it out.!" You say a bit frustrated. Okuyasu then runs over after you pulled your arms out empty handed. "That I can help with!"
Okuyasu says eagerly. "The hand!" He says. Promptly the shelf the disappears revealing the last copy of Rohan's latest issue in all its glory. You rush to grab it very happy to have gotten a hold of it but then it sinks in. "Wait..what the fuck just happened? That blue thing that made the fucking shelf go bye bye?!" You says now even more flustered. "You saw it? Maybe that means you have the aptitude..never mind that what's the puzzle letter?!" Josuke says eagerly. "Oh yeah!" You say completely forgetting about the thing you saw earlier. You turn your attention to the books spine and spot the next letter. "V, the next letter is V...so so far we have ILOV...?" You say confused by its meaning. Okuyasu motions that he is putting on his thinking cap. "VOIL...we OLIV.. OLIVE?" He says with a smile. "Seems we will still need all the issues to paint a picture about that puzzle.." Josuke says with a shrug. "But what we can do is have a little reader party at your place since we all worked to find it!" Josuke says with a wide smile. You reluctantly agree, you had to repay them for their help. You just hoped the contents weren't too crazy, but you had a feeling that this issue would a special one, especially after you and Rohan shared that moment under the table. You blush remembering the feeling of his back against yours. (Gosh what will the manga escalate that exchange to?!) you think as you headed to your home with Josuke and Okuyasu.
As soon as you all arrived they dashed you your room like they lived their and took your bed, forcing you to climb in between them with the book. "Go on....~" Josuke says with a smirk." You roll your eyes and take a deep breath and open the manga.
