(This chapter is a side chapter that takes place before and during the events of the previous chapters to explain some backstory)
"This is rubbish..you should stick to writing what you know.." we're the words that constantly echoed in Rohan's head each time he started to sketch out his manga again. "Dammit!" Rohan yelled out as he slams his hand on the desk. Rohan then proceeds to crumble the paper into a ball and toss it behind his back into a growing pile of scrapped pages. Almost immediately after starting his drawing again Rohan slams the desk hard enough to break the pen causing ink to spill out onto the paper underneath. Rohan tears up a bit as he was overstimulated and decided to break for the day. Rohan steps into the shower to help calm himself down. (Why can't I do it? I'm Rohan Kishibe! I can write anything, why can't I write a fucking shoujo?!) Rohan Thinks as he slams his fist into the shower wall. Rohan steps back and leans forward resting his hands on the wall in front of him letting all of the shower water hit his back. (I've used my heavens doors ability several times on countless people..I should be able to write from their experiences! It doesn't make sense that I'm in a slump! ) Rohan thinks as he grits his teeth a little. (Is that damn producer right? Should I only write shonen?) Rohan think as he slicks his hair back with one hand as mentally doubted his skills. Rohan lunches the wall again.
The next day Rohan decided he would go out onto the field, or at least that's what Rohan called the outside world, everything was merely subjects for his work, because Rohan believers that everything, and almost everone could potentially add an organic element to his works. "Where is the thing that pieces all of the experiences I gathered up together?" Rohan asked himself aloud. "Maybe I really should just write another damn shonen.." Rohan says to himself as he sits on a bench and begins to sketch a random hero he wasn't exactly in love with. Rohan leans back with disappointment in himself and stares blankly ahead of him. Just as he did that he watched a student struggle to get into the front gates. For the first time in a while Rohan felt his heart lighten a bit and allow himself to let out a chuckle. It was at this moment that this was the feeling he wanted for his manga but was previously unable to portray. (I need to dive into this further..this experience is carrying my whole manga right now..dammit but I do t even know what it is...that person may hold the key to this whole thing. Rohan thought as he observed them.
The next day Rohan finds an letter accepting his newest manuscript and smiles. "I've done it again! Now I just need to experience more things to make my manga more organic! First hand experience is what I need..I know that now..I just need to find my muse again..." Rohan says to himself out loud as he begins to jot down plans and things to consider for his manga. "Ugh none of these ideas are any good..maybe if I find that person again.." Rohan says to himslef as he laid in his mess of papers.
