The next night, I aimed my phone at the roof, hoping that she would be able to hear the lyrics of the song and understand what they meant.
This time though, it wasn't just one glass I heard shatter, but multiple ones.
I heard footsteps and a door slam, and all I could hope for was that she was okay because even though she denied everything, deep down, I knew.
But as I laid down in bed and tried to fall asleep, my only thought was that I would wait till the end of time for her to tell me.
