Charlotte's POV: I rushed to my house to see if my Mum had already gone to the hospital. I knew that my Mum said she would go in a few days but once the doctors said that about my Grandmother but she left earlier. I opened the door to see nobody in the house. I tried to call my Mum but it went to voicemail.
I sat down on the floor starting to cry. What was I going to do? I had no idea when my Dad would come or when I would leave. I then felt someone touch my shoulder.
"It's ok..." A soft voice said, I turned around to see Jack.

"What are you doing here?" I asked him, wiping my tears.
"I came to see you..." He said helping me get up.
"Aren't you supposed to be in New York?" I asked confused.
"Yeah, but your way more important." He said tucking my hair behind my ear. He then crashed his lips onto mine. I quickly pulled away remembering Henry, this was wrong. I had a boyfriend and all I'm thinking about is Henry.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"Nothing!" I said quickly leaving the house.
"Wh...where are you going?" He asked.
"To the Hart's house, I'm staying there for a while..." I said.
"Well, you could come to my place!" He said.
"I thought you didn't have a house in Swellview!" I said hoping he didn't.
"I don't but I have a few miles outside from Swellview!" He said smiling.
"But what about school?" I asked, I couldn't go for one reason. I had to help Henry tommorow.
"It's fine we can leave from home early!" He said. I let out a big sigh and nodded my head in defeat.
"Let me just text Piper!" I said getting out my phone. I then texted Piper:

Piper: Hey, r u ok
Me: Yeah

Me: So listen Jack is in Swellview and he said that I could stay at his place
Piper: Im sure Mum and Dad wouldn't mind
Me: Really?
Piper: ...
Me: It's about 2 mile away from Swellview
Piper: It will be fine as long as u get to skl on time they won't worry
