You : "I'm here!"

Today is the greatest day and the worst day of my life. Let me explain.

So today is graduation day (yay right?) Wrong. You wanna know why? I might not be D1 eligible to play football! That's crazy talk! I mean who wouldn't want me, I'm the greatest safety in my high school!

Y/c : "Hey there Y/n! How are you doing?"

You : "Uhhh Good! Totally fine!

Y/c : "That's good. I can't believe that we've made it this far! We've had some close moments here and there but in the end we made it!"

You : "Yeah I'm really happy with how these past 3 years have turned o-"

Principal : "TESTING TESTING."

The boom mic rings in your ears.

Principal : "Please take your seats everyone as we're about to begin our award ceremony."

We take our seats.

Couple minutes after the show starts the principal calls my teacher's name which means it's time for my class.

Your teacher : May I please have my class rise and come up here?"

We rise and stand on the stage.

We get lots of applause.

5 minutes until the graduation is over

Y/c whispers to you : "Hey, can we talk after the graduation?"

You : "Yeah sure, why?"

Y/c : "Oh, no reason!"

It's finally the end of the graduation ceremony and we meet up in the place that we said we would.

You : "So what is it that you wanted to talk about?"

Y/c : "so how do I put this. I kinda have feelings for you."

You stand there in awe, not believing what you heard.

Y/c : "I don't know if you feel the same way bu-"

You passionately kiss Your Crush and they embrace it.

You : "Does that answer your question?" You smile uncontrollably.

Y/c : "So are we a thing now?"

You : "Hell yeah!"

As you're walking away, you feel something slide into your back pocket, and you check.

Ah but of course, their phone number. Yes!

In thoughts : Ahhhhhh! I forgot to see if I'm D1 eligible!

You go up to the coaches office.

You : "Hey coach you in here?"

Coach : "Yeah I'm here. What's up Y/n?"

You : "I forgot to ask, but am I D1 eligible coach?"

Coach : "What do you think? Of course you are! You grades are on the top of the charts and your our best safety, how could you not? I'll be looking out for you in college Y/n. Jeep up the great work."

You start to tear up.

You : "I appreciate it coach." You start to cry.

You hug as this may be your last.

You add the number to your phone.

And you drive.
