Chapter 14- Rocky Nesting!!

Defne woke up on Monday morning with a huge smile on her face!! 
The past weekend had been so so perfect. 
She couldn't have asked for anything better than that!  

They, Omer and her, had had dinners, leisurely drives around the bay, drawn a bit more, gone out for quick bites, a formal dinner at a sit-down restaurant, a movie at Omer's home theater, all of these sprinkled with lots of kisses, love, hugs and cuddles along with a heavy dose of Omer's unwavering attention! 

She had had a relaxed and an ecstatic weekend at the same time. 

Each day, by the time he dropped her home, it would be 12 in the morning. 
He had repeatedly begged her to stay back, and she had repeatedly declined which she thought would be against the love she was raised with by Annane. 
So, prudishly she had disagreed and he had reluctantly agreed to her disagreement! 

How swell was her life and how beautifully it was heading towards them being an official couple; and what an awesome feeling she got when she gave Neriman that fat cheque on Saturday morning,  she thought as she applied finishing touches to her simple makeup and headed down with that blissful smile etched on her face hand in hand with the sweet little Esra. 

"Huh uh... my renegade is here and has this loony smile on her face! 
Ne oldu kizim?  What happened Defne?
My sweet daughter, did the tree fall on your pretty head that is has turned it into a looney head? 
Esra, watch your sister, so she doesn't wander off to her looney land by herself, while I finish laying the table. 

Nihan!  Serdar!  Come down for breakfast. 
Let's all eat together!"
Shouted Turkan Hanim as she pranced to and fro between the kitchen and the dining room in fast, short steps. 

Nihan came bouncing two steps at a time to catch up with the loonily smiling Defne to get last day's and night's account. 
When they were interrupted by the proverbial bell!! 

It was Iso, who was welcomed warmly with hugs into the Topal household for breakfast!
Defne looked around and seeing all her loved ones assembled around the table, she suddenly missed the love of her life ... Omer!! 

She mightily wished he were there too, sighing and resigning to the fact that, that day wasn't too far when he would take a place at their breakfast, and dinner table soon, as she seated herself for a meal with her family which seemed after eons. 

Defne found herself muttering secrets gleefully to exclaimed oohs and aahs from Nihan and rolled eyes from the rest around the table. 
Soon after breakfast, spilling with laughter, they tumbled out of the house, straight in front of Omer, who, dressed in a three-piece Navy suit, stood in front of his jet-black Mercedes looking as dapper as a guy from the foreign movies! 

"Omer??! 
Ne yapiyorsun burda?  What are you doing here?
Sabah sabah? That too, early in the morning?
Would you like to come in for a cup of coffee?"
Asked Defne, smiling widely, only wanting to happily fall into his arms, but restraining herself, with Nihan right behind her toes. 

"Oh, I just came by to see you and to drive you to work, so I can get some 15 minutes with you!"
Saying, he nodded a polite hello to Nihan and suggested.
"Nihan, why don't you also join us? 
You can sit with Shukru Aabhi, while Defne and I catch up after not seeing for eight long hours!!"

He smoothly finished by winking at Defne with a mischievous, lopsided grin! 

"Tamaam canim!"
Said Nihan, while both Defne and Nihan wishing Shukru and got in. 

Omer immediately reached out for Defne's left hand and kissed her sweetly to a blushing Defne, who coyly inched closer to Omer. 
He hugged her by the shoulder, kissed her on top of the head. 
He had discovered a thing about himself. 
He was much more attracted to her amidst a crowd! 
Like now, he wasn't able to keep himself away from her.
