Felix and his friend, Hyunjin, were enjoying a free day at the familiar beach. The waves were tranquil, lapping gently at the sandy shore.

Sighing, Felix closed his eyes. His back bent oddly with the natural curves of the sand his towel was on.

Minho would be able to see the ocean, Felix realized. He can see blue.

Felix's eyes cracked open, mere slits. The clear, gray sky above him, completely monochromatic and boring, stretched endlessly in every direction.

"Hey, do I know you?" Hyunjin's voice, speaking to someone, caused Felix to sit up and open his eyes fully.

Minho's face lit up when Felix recognized him. The boy next to him seemed to be just a bit younger than Minho. "No, but Felix does. I'm Minho," he introduced himself. "This is Changbin. Changbin, say hi."

Changbin tossed minho a playful glare before smiling at Hyunjin. "Hi."

"Hyunjin, Minho is my soulmate," Felix clarified. "We've met a few times."

"What? You met your soulmate and didn't tell me? How many colors do you see?"

Hyunjin was justified in his offense. He, himself, had yet to meet his other half; plus, it was common courtesy to tell one's friends when the soulmates met.

"Just four, so far. Red, orange, yellow, and green," Felix said. "And Minho sees brown, blue, and green."

Minho smiled, pleased by how Felix remembered. He sat next to the younger boy, letting Changbin find space for himself next to Hyunjin. "And you, Felix's friend? Who are you?"

"Hyunjin," he said. "I see black, white, and gray."

Changbin nodded, sympathetic. "Same."

"Your name is also Hyunjin?"

Changbin looked at Hyunjin, incredulous. Hyunjin gasped and blinked once.

"Looks like we accidentally brought them together," Minho said to Felix, cocking his head in the direction of the now-excited soumates holding an animated conversation.

Felix stared off into the dark gray water, softly grinning. "It was all you, Minho."

"Aww, come on. Give yourself credit, Felix. It's you who made me even come here."

"Wait, really?"

Minho grinned, rocking sideways to let his shoulder bump Felix's. "Of course. You're my soulmate; trust me like I trust you."

With those words came the most strange-looking realization of color yet. Both the ocean and sky faded from their usual, dull shades of black and white, turning cobalt and azure.

Minho recognized the change and put his hand over Felix's; they both watched the blue waves hit a sandy shore.

"You know," Minho said, barely more audible than a whisper, "you can see blue, and I can see yellow, now... I'm glad I could make you happy like this."
