Donghyuck goes with Jisung to check whatever it is while Mark enters the office through another door, the main one. Once he's in, the bustle is apparent. It is a busy Tuesday, the whole office is really running around as Jisung had said. NCT is building a new plastic processing factory near Akdong, and there's a lot of paper works.

Mark's casual walking is interrupted with a shout. If the hubbub weren't so loud and the workers weren't on deadline, Mark's sure all of the office would have faced the way of the voice. The secretary has a proclivity to finish things until late at night so he's rather free in the office, in order to anticipate whatever bizarre request Donghyuck would be making.

Anyway, Mark goes to the source of the sound to find Kang Mina, his old (ex-girl)friend who now happens to be his colleague, Mark remembers that she just got in two months ago. The one who was screaming was apparently Miss Ahn, her complexion looks terrible, Mark notes.

"What's the problem here?" Mark quickly interjects Miss Ahn's angry shouting, putting himself between her and Mina. "I wouldn't say you're disturbing others since it's so loud in here, but I wouldn't suggest screaming like that, Miss Ahn."

As a secretary, Mark doesn't use his privileges often. However, it works in disputes such as this one because everyone knows that it's not wise to go against him. Donghyuck really favours him, so he won't go against Mark's assessment most of the times.

Both Mina and Miss Ahn look quite surprised, they certainly did not expect the secretary himself. The elder lady, however, is quicker to regain her composure. "I'm sorry for causing a disturbance, Mr. Lee. This girl here," she throws a quick, disdainful glance to the younger girl in question and Mina almost whimpers, "printed the wrong document and made dozens of copy before checking it with me first. We can't have this mistake with the deadline coming today, she needs out."

From her explanation, it does seem like a big mistake. Mark thinks that his school mate is lucky Doyoung didn't walk in on this, he would probably have her immediately expelled with all the stress that's been piling up. Without favouritism and only for the sake of the fair judgement, Mark asks Mina.

"Why did you do that, Miss Kang?" Mark purposely uses the name to reiterate their difference in position. Miss Ahn doesn't know he once sang a ballad for her with a guitar accompaniment, saying he would always call her love, and she doesn't need to know. So she looks smugly at the younger girl while leaning on her cubicle divider.

"I'm sorry. I really did try to, to contact her but I panicked." She just says, and Mark sighs.

"All right, it's no use just to stick around here, and we'll consider what we should do to you after a meeting with Mr. Kim." Mark thinks of Doyoung, fatigued, snappy, and ghostly white with thick eyebags, he'll be shouting to fire her if asked right now. "So we'll take care of the document right now."

Miss Ahn looks satisfactory. "Oh, but the printing and copying room is full, and we need this as soon as possible."

"I know, the CEO's printer is probably the only vacant one around." Mark coughs, and Mina looks at him full of hope. "Since it seems important, we'll take care of it right now."

Mark throws Mina a side glance and she immediately picks her pink laptop from her desk, avoiding Miss Ahn's disbelieving look. "I will send you the e-mail, uh, e-mail you the file, Mr. Lee."

Mark nods, and he opens his chat with Mina while he's on the elevator, on his way to reach the top floor. There's a special elevator with limited access for him, Donghyuck, and the head departments, so it's quiet and empty there as always, completely unlike the one beside him which is filled with around 20 people.
