Chapter 34: Won't Give Up

Chaewon's POV

It's been a week since Minju got drunk and now here she goes again crying over that girl, she tried again to talk to her ex but she just shove her away, I don't know how many times she already cried because of Yujin, why can't she choose me instead? I almost got her when our parents have us an arrange marriage when they thought that her father couldn't make it through the operation but as soon as her father recovered she choose to comeback here.

"Aish can you stop crying you look ugly when you cry" I said teasing her just to distract to her from the pain that she's feeling, but the truth is she's still beautiful even when she cry

"I'm such a fool and stupid right? No matter how much I want to move on and throw this feelings away but I can't, it's always coming back to me. I know I hurted her before but I just want her to listen to me and maybe she will forgive me and everything will go back the same as before" she said still crying

She's still holding on, no matter how Yujin pushes her away she's still here holding on, she really love her, that's the love I can't get.

I hug her and rub her back

"Stop crying, just stop thinking about her for awhile please, you're just hurting yourself, I hate seeing you crying"

I pull away from the hug and wipe her tears using my thumb "look at you, you look like a kid who cries with a snot on your nose hahaha" I tease her again that made her chuckle

"Yah I'm not" she said while wiping her face with a tissue

"So what are you going to do this sembreak?" I asked to change the topic

"I don't know, probably just stay here, I don't feel like going anywhere"

"Eyy that's so boring, let's go somewhere"

Minju's POV

I'm thankful, thankful that Chaewon is here although I know that I'm hurting her but I didn't mean it... Chaewon is a good person she took care of me while I am in states, when my family is in crisis she's always by my side. She even let me go and help me to convince my father for me to comeback here.

"Where are we going?" I asked her as we are driving it's almost 8 in the evening

"My auntie has a beach resort here and the renovation just finished, I already have our room reservation"

"Oh okay" I said and looked at the window, maybe even just this week should just stop thinking about her, and I didn't notice that I fell asleep

"Minju, Minju wake up, we are here" I heard Chaewon calling my name

"Come on let's go inside so we can now go to our room" she said and we go out from the car and took our luggage, it's 11:15PM already

"Good evening ma'am how may I help you?" The receptionist asked while smiling

"Good evening I already have a room reservation here" Chaewon said

"What's your name ma'am?"

"Kim Chaewon" Chaewon answered and the receptionist typed something on the computer

"So your room number is 305 and here's your key card, just sign this log book and you're ready to go"

Chaewon and I signed at the log book and after that we went to our room.

Wow the room looks luxurious...

"I'm sorry I can only manage to get us single bed cause the rooms are fully booked"

"It's okay, you can sleep on the floor" I said and her face looks so funny

"What?"

"Hahahaha just kidding, it's okay the bed is big enough for us"

"Tss let's fix and and arrange our things and after that let's shower and let's sleep we still have a lot of things to do tomorrow.

After we organized our things and took a shower we decided to sleep but I can't sleep so I went to the balcony of our room to get some fresh air and I was startled when I heard the glassdoor opened

"Oh gosh!" I said holding my chest

"I'm sorry did I scared you?"

"I'm just startled" I said and she stand beside me and we look at the seashore while feeling the cold breeze

"Can't sleep?" She asked

"Yeah, just thinking something, you know random thoughts"

"Like what? Care to share with me?"

I was hesitating, she might get hurt again when I said it

"Is it about Yujin?" She said and yes she got it right

"Come on, share it with me it might help you to ease your mind"

"But--"

"Come on Min I'm willing to listen, I'm your friend or best friend rather"

Chaewon's POV

"Come on Min I'm willing to listen, I'm your friend or best friend rather" wow I just hurted myself but I'd rather be a best friend that nothing

"Go share your thoughts, I'm listening" I said and she smiled bitterly

"I'm just thinking, what if Dad didn't get sick? What if I didn't go to America? Then maybe Yujin and I are still together....happily" she said and I can feel the sadness on her voice

"Maybe it's still me, maybe I'm still the one that she loves but I'm so stupid and I made the wrong decision" she continued

"Min don't say that, you know how those times are so hard for you, that you have to choose what's most important choice which is your father because he needs you"

"But Yujin is also important to me" she said and there are tears on her eyes again so I hugged her

"Just like what they say, everything happens for a reason. There's a reason why all of these things are happening but we don't know that reason yet, so stop over thinking and let's enjoy the moment first okay?" I said while caressing her hair and I can feel her soft sobs as she nod her head on my chest

"Thank you...for always being here for me I don't know what I will going to do if you're not here"

"You may be gone crazy if I'm not here tho especially when you get drunk hahaha" I tease her to lift up the mood

"Yah! I'm not going crazy, I'm not that easy to get drunk" she said as she hit my chest lightly

"Okay if that's what you say frog"

"Aish I'm not a frog!" She said as she cross her arms on her chest and pouts, aigoo she's so cute

"Let's sleep?" I said and she nods and I drag her to our bed and we laydown

"Goodnight Chae" Minju said as she turn to the other side

"Uhh Min?"

"Hmm?"

"C-can I hug you?" Fudge why did I asked that? I'm so stupid

She look at me for seconds not responding

"Uhmm nevermind, don't mind what I sai----"

"Yes you can" she cut me off

"Are you sure?"

She didn't respond, she just took my arm and wrap around her waist

"Goodnight Chae" she said again and I can't help but to smile

"Goodnight Min" I said and I tighten my hug on her, feeling her warmth
