*Macsima P.O.V* -9/9- the mansion
I was standing in master's office like I was ordered, his office was quite nice, there was the desk with a chair behind, and two chairs in the front opposite each other, on the other side of the room there was this grey couch which I was sitting on. behind the desk were windows from the top till the end, with a view of the backyard garden.
I stood up and went to look through the window to see the birthday party. it was master's son birthday, I watched as his son was playing with the kids whom he call friends. Even though their parents are friends but master's son is not like them, he was kind and cute, they were bullies and mean.
"well, you know if I knew when was your birthday I would have actually thrown you a party" I looked up at master
"I don't know when is it" I replied knowing that he is either lying or just making an introduction to why he need me but however I didn't lie
"that's sad, but hey" he kneed down beside me and patted my hair "let's make it your birthday today, you can celebrate with my son"
I looked at how happy the kids are playing. if two years back master said the same thing I would have gladly accepted right away, but so much has changed, I now know who master truly is, I now see his true colours. even if I just ignored all that, I can never ignore the fact that I no longer think as a child, the things he put me through made me think too much, is this how adults think? do they just do it or think for a long time? if they think for a long time then why do they always make wrong decisions? like me, if you don't want me, then why make me from the beginning?
"Pink?" I turned to master as he called me with that nickname that no longer has it's effect
"sorry, what do you need me to do today master?" he looked shocked for a second then he stood up
"well" his voice was no longer cheerful but sad and confused. was I harsh on him ? "I need your so good memory, and you see that whole up there?" he pointed to the vent
"yes"
"you will go there and I will tell you the directions, they you will listen and come back and tell me what you heard"
"why not put a microphone in her clothes or something?" a man who I didn't notice before asked
"Can't do that Dave, sure they are stupid but they are not that stupid, do you think that they will make a deal in my house without any suspicions? they have devices that detected microphone and camera, besides.." master turned to me "my little Pink is pretty good memory"

"I am telling you, Jen is making deals outside the circle" I am currently hiding in the vent, spying on the conversation of the Mr Bush, Mr Markov and Miss Casmer
"that's impossible, first he would have told me, second he can't transport drugs without our help, the police will catch him" miss Casmer said as she lit her cigarette
"Sally, how naif do you think he is?! just because you sleep with him, doesn't mean that he will tell you anything"Mr Bush yelled
"I use him you bastard" she yelled back
"anyway" Mr Markov stood up "you told us you have a deal? spit it out"
"my deal is taking Jen down, because he cheated us by trading without us, I just don't know how or who the hell help him?"
"maybe an officer with a little bit money" Markov shrugged
"I asked everyone but no answer" Bush yelled at them
"do you think that whoever help him will just tell you?" Casmer smoked again
"well I do have something instead" that caught their attention "I have a CD that contains some great details about our amazing Jen Mitchell, in a week, William will arrive in New York and give it to me, then I will give it to the New York times and we'll see how people will react to their lovely humble lying Jen"
"what will we gain from that except using our partner who makes things simpler for us?" Markov asked still bored
"after being sent to prison, I will make sure he die, then comes his will declaring that Aiden isn't his son and he was just taking care of him because Aidan's mother was blackmailing Jen with the same CD that made him go to prison so all his property will be devided among his loyal friends, me and you" my heart started picking up at the mention of Aiden's name and what will happen to him
"why not just kill Aiden?" Casmer asked
"Markov said he wanted him" Bush motioned to Markov
"I have no heir, besides he is Malorie's son" Markov replied
"when will you forget her? love is not something you are capable of" Casmer scolded him
"well, dad told me that kids affect us too much, that they can change us" Markov looked through the window
"let's not focus on anything but our victory and our money" Bush said gaining their attention now
"hate to admit but well planned Bush" Casmer said smirking so did Markov
"anyway let's go, we are late for cake" they all turned around and left. I quickly turned all the way back, crawling as quick as I can, until i reached the office room, i quickly kicked the vent cover.
"hey Pink, you finished?" master asked raising both hands to pick me up, he held me and I held him tight, even though he changed my life but I still loved him. "Macsima what's the matter? why are you crying?" he asked with a very tender voice wiping my tears away which I didn't notice till now
"were you caught?" that Dave guy asked
"no no, master" I hugged him again "they ..........." and i told him everything, exactly like I saw and heard
"looks like you were right" Dave said
"yeah, i expect treason before it happens, now Dave please leave us alone" he sat me on his legs as Dave left "Pink, don't cry baby" he said patting me
"but will you and Aiden be okay?"
"because you did your job perfectly ; yes" he smiled at me
"okay" i suddenly was very interested in my hands
"come on let's go" he said standing up
"where?"
"to your and Aiden's birthday party"
...............................
