Quick tip!

The dog chase's' the cat.

Since the subject "dog" wasn't plural and didn't have an "s", the verb "chases" will have an "s"

Vise versa:
The dog's' chase the cat.

"Dogs" has an "s" meaning the verb "chase" won't.
