Chapter 25 {part 2}

Emily's Video:

Emily: hey guys, welcome to my new youtube channel. Yes this is the real me, my new channel is now called Emily_World. Where I will be uploading my videos for you guys for now. So... for starters, life update. I know longer live in Jersey. I live in California with my older brothers, Ethan and Grayson. If you don't know who they're they have their own youtube channel called the DolanTwins. You might be wondering why I am not in Jersey with my mom. Well... she kicked me out last summer and forced me to live in LA with my brothers, leaving all my friends behind

Ethan: *pause video* you said that?
Emily: *slide down in seat* yeah...
Grayson: you do realize suspicions people are watching right
Emily: what do you mean?
Grayson: for instance, social service. They will think you're not safe here and will put you in another home since you're a minor
Emily: nooo.... I didn't want for that to happened honest. I even said you were fantastic brothers that just wanted what was best for me
Grayson: you did?
Emily: if you watched the whole video, you would understand why I made this
Ethan: well play the video
Emily: okay!

Emily played the video and the boys continued watching the video without interruptions.

Emily: now... if you're wondering where I currently am. I live with my older brothers in California. My mom and I have made up but she never asked me to move back. Now the reason I made this video, is because... I was supposed to live with my brothers for a year for school right, and it turned out to be longer then a year. Now before you send hate to my brothers, they did nothing wrong. The reason they want to pull me out of school is because they have no one to watch me while they do videos stuff. I just want you guys to educate them about me wanting to go school

Grayson: *pause video* you heard what you said right
Emily: *bites bottom lip* yeah...
Grayson: remember that after the video

Emily gulped nervously after Grayson played it again.

Emily: look its not that I should be grateful for what I have. But I should be able to go to a real school and be with my friends. I need you guys as my supporters, to leave a nice argument to my brothers on why I need to be in school and not homeschooled. Ty for understanding. Emily's Squad out!

Then it cues to her outro.

Emily: *pause video and bites bottom lip* so... is it bad...
Grayson: Emily...
Emily: I know I shouldn't have made it public like that, and I know the people that are suspicious are watching
Ethan: honey why didn't you just talk to us about this
Emily: I tried too! But you wouldn't listen!
Grayson: it's not that we wouldn't listen, you just never gave us a proper reasoning
Emily: so me saying I want to be with my friends isn't good enough reason?
Grayson: no it isn't. The point of going to school is to get a better education. We put you in that school to be smart, not to hang out with friends.
Ethan: and lately your grades haven't been doing so well. I dunno why when dad use to tell us, you did well in school
Grayson: wait a minute, I just thought of something. With dad being gone, he isn't the reason why you're failing school is it?
Emily: well... dad always encouraged me to do well in school. He also use to help me with my homework and such. When he died, I didn't think it would feel right to not do well in school without him
Ethan: *sighs* oh Emily... you know dad would be disappointed
Emily: *frowns* I know
Grayson: here's what's gonna happened. We are gonna delete this video and you're gonna make a apology video to us and say everything was just a misunderstanding and if you keep your grades up in school. Ethan and I will allow you to stay in school.

Emily: really?
Grayson: really
Emily: *squeals* thanks Grayson *hugs him* thanks E *hugs him*
Ethan: now... punishment for having a youtube channel and uploading a video to the internet with out our permission
Emily: *lie* but I did ask...
Grayson: Emily don't lie, or I will count that  too
Emily: *frowns* yes sir
Ethan: you're grounded for the weekend and we will be taking your technology too
Emily: that's not fair
Grayson: you want a spanking on top of that too?
Emily: *shakes head* no sir
Grayson: be thankful we didn't ground you for long or given you a spanking for this behavior. We didn't want to give you a spanking before the apology video because you would be squirming in your seat while giving that statement
Emily: yes sir *hugs them* ty. I love you boys so much
Ethan/Grayson: we love you too
Grayson: alright E, lets delete the video and Emily get ready to make that apology statement
Emily: *frown* yes sir
Grayson: next time you do this, you bet your butt will be burning
Emily: *gulps* yes sir. I promise never again
Ethan: good, proud of you

Ethan and Grayson deleted the video and Emily made her public statement live and from the heart.

Sorry for the short chapter this week, a lot of things going on in the world. I hope y'all been educated because racism is a serious thing to talk about. Especially since I'm black and I don't feel comfortable with people if they don't respect me or my culture.
