Chapter 29: Final

Chapter 29:

It's been 2 years now. Emily graduated from middle school and is now getting ready for high school in August. But let's talk about summer.

The family have moved from the boys apartment to a bigger house so that Cameron could move in with them. Cameron finished college this year so she would be moving in with Emily and the boys because she wants to help out with taking care of Emily.

It's summer and because of coronavirus is rapidly forming. Emily wanted to go camping this year, but the boys told her now because it wasn't safe, so Emily suggested backyard camping and the boys agreed with that. Emily invited Sophie to the camping and the girls prepared the snacks and things they needed to camp while the boys set up the tent.

Sophie: it sucks we can't go to real camp this year with our friends

Emily: yeah maybe next year. I hope we can go back to school soon. I miss everyone already

Sophie: so... how are you with everything going on between Lev and Walker

Emily: good I guess... Walker moved on and I'm totally fine with that. At least I have Lev

Sophie: that's a good sign

Emily: What about you and Jentzen?

Sophie: We are taking things slow right now. Right now we are each other's crush. But I want to be more than that

Emily: Why don't you just tell him that?

Sophie: you won't tell Lev you have feelings for him

Emily: true...

Cameron: what is this about feelings? You two shouldn't have feelings so young

Emily: *jumps* oh Cameron you scared me, I forgot you were still here. The boys said I can have crushes but no boyfriend until I'm at least 16

Cameron: good, you two do not want to experience boys and heartbreaks right now

Emily: How old were you when you had a boyfriend?

Cameron: uh... that's not the point

Emily: that's fine, *mumbles* I'll just find out in your journal

Cameron: what was that?

Emily: nothing

Sophie: she said she will find out in your journal

Emily: SOPHIE!

Sophie: sorry...

Cameron: listen to me Emily, you go near my stuff in my room while I'm staying with you. You're gonna regret it

Emily: Is that a threat?

Cameron: what do you think?

Emily: yep that's a threat

Grayson: *comes in* Are you girls ready to go in the pool, while we are finished setting up?

Emily/Sophie: yes!

Emily: I'm so glad I don't need a life jacket anymore now that I know how to swim

Sophie: you do?

Emily: the boys been teaching me since quarantine

Sophie: oh... why didn't you learn before?

Emily: I was scared of water, dad tried to teach me, but I started screaming anytime I tried. Now I feel bad I never let him tried

Sophie: I'm sure your dad will be proud of you learning now

Emily: I know *smiles*

Sophie and I ran upstairs to my bedroom and got into our baiting suites then headed downstairs to the pool.

Sophie and I did Tik Tok video together, even did an underwater video. We filmed some camping experiences with the boys and Cameron.

I love my family so much, we may have our disagreements at times, but it's because they care and only want what's best for me. I can't wait to start high school and see all my friends again, and let everything go back to normal!
