Fries POV:

Before I left the garden gates, I checked all around me. Hm, no sign of Gelatin or Donut, so I guess it was okay to leave. I slowly shut the doors and began my walk to the language department.

Along the way, I thought about how I would apologize to her. I mean, she was super feisty and stubborn, so I'd have to find a way to make her listen. How about, "I'm sorry I'm a huge dumbass and you are flawless?" That sounds pretty convincing. I giggled to myself as I entered the building. I greeted Teardrop at the front desk, and they did some funky sign language. I assumed it was just them saying hello or something. I waved back and made my way through the hallway.

Each door led to a seperate object's office. I made sure to greet each one of them individually, because communication is literally what their whole job is.

"Hi Dora."

"DADADADADA!"

"Oh, sorry. I didn't know you were busy. I'll let you be."

I peeped through the next door: "Greetings, Saw!"

"Hi Fries! What brings you out here so L8!"

"Just looking for a friend, that's all."

Jeez, there were way too many people working here; I needed to pick up my pace before Lollipop completely shuns me.

I practically zoomed by a bunch of offices, and heard "aW sEriouSly" behind me. David always made me uncomfortable, especially after flying over a whole sea full with rows of him.

I finally reached the last two doors, one on the left and one on the right. I wasn't sure which door was who's, but I took a wild guess and chose the door on the right.

"Oh...heyy," I said, cringing. I just opened Book's door by accident.

"What do you want," she said, raising her eyebrow bitterly.

Knowing her and Lollipop's history, I didn't know whether to tell Book the truth or not, but I guess she'd know more about Lollipop than me.

"Well, I was wondering if you've seen Lollipop anywhere recently."

She glanced at me, up to down, a judgemental look in her eye. "Oh. You're looking for her. I thought she ditched us to hang with you?"

Before I could answer, she continued speaking: "Whatever, I don't have time for small talk. Her room is over there," she pointed at the door across.

"Oh, uh, thanks!" I awkwardly closed the door and walked to the other side of the hall. I took a deep breath and knocked once on the door.

Silence.

I knocked again. Nothing. She was probably ignoring me.

"Lollipop, I know you're in there. Please open the door." Even more silence. "Come on, please. I didn't mean to yell at you like that, it was just a sensitive topic and I got irrational. Just let me in so we can talk about it."

Damnit, she wasn't listening.

"Okay, this is crazy. I'm coming in." I grabbed the door handle and twisted it. She locked the door. I was starting to lose my patience.

"Ok stand back, I don't want to hurt you," I yelled, getting ready to kick the door open. I took a running start and the door toppled down.
