Six weeks passes by and Maverick returns to work.
"Wyatt Morgan has escaped from Cook County. He's in prison for muliple murders." News caster said.
Herrmann sees Alexis coming and changes the channel. The whole room gets quiet.
"What is going on?" Alexis asked as she gets suspicious.
"Nothing." Mouch said.
"You guess are terrible liars." Alexis said.
Alexis looks at Maverick. Maverick looks away from her. Kelly runs in.
"Will someone just tell me what's going on?" Alexis asked as she gets frustrated.
Herrmann changes the channel back to what it was.
"Come on." Alexis said.
Alexis walks away and sits on the bench outside of the firehouse.
Engine 51, Truck 81, Squad 3, Ambulance 61, Warehouse fire.
They get to the call and other companies are aleady there.
"What happened?" Casey asked.
"4 firefighters are trapped somewhere in the warehouse." Captain Flasher said.
"I need Engine to hang tight. Everyone else search and rescue." Casey said.
Time passes
"Fire's getting bad. It's turning black. Get out of there." Herrmann said over the radio.
Inside the building
"Get out of here." Kelly said.
"I'm not leaving you." Alexis said.
"Alex, get out! That's an order." Kelly said.
The fire starts getting bad.
"Get out of here now!" Kelly shouts.
Alexis grabs Kelly's hand.
"I'll be right behind you." Kelly said as he sees a civilian.
Alexis runs out.
"Who's still inside?" Alexis asked.
"Casey, Dalton, and Severide." Cruz said.
Alexis immediately gets tears in her eyes.
"I have to get him out." Alexis said.
"Stay back." Maverick said.
A fire consumes the entry way.
"No." Alexis said crying.
"Alex?" Kelly asked over the radio.
"Kelly." Alexis said over the radio
"No crying. Please no crying." Kelly said over the radio.
Alexis wipes her tears.
"You're the best thing that ever happened to me." Kelly said over the radio.
"Don't do that." Alexis said over the radio.
"Ever since Shay, I thought that I would never be as happy as I am with you. You're the best thing that ever happened to me." Kelly said over the radio.
Alexis starts to sob.
"I lo..." Kelly said before his radio begins to static.
Alexis falls to the floor sobbing and wailing.
