"BabE wHaT ArE YOu dOing uP sO eArly?~" Ellie whined as she stepped into the kitchen, looking at Honey, who was making coffee at the moment.Honey chuckled softly at her girlfriend. "It's already seven in the morning, you know that, right?" She kissed Ellie's forehead before turning back around, Ellie groaning as she wrapped her arms around Honey's waist.
"Exactly." She whined, leaning her head against Honey's shoulder. "It's e a r l y." Honey chuckled.
"It isn't that early love." She glanced at her, pouring creamer into her coffee, Ellie gagging. Honey raised am eyebrow at her.
"Why?....." Ellie groaned tiredly. "Why must you ruin such a perfect coffee?????"
" Because I'm not a psycho? Who likes bitter coffee? " Honey chuckled as she stirred her coffee with a spoon,Ellie rolling her eyes.
"I mean, I might have a sweet tooth and want creamer, but 99.9% of the time, I. Don't. Want. The. Damn. Creamer." Ellie played with Honey's hair.
"Do you want to go somewhere later?"
Ellie responded with a tired nod, mumbling something. She squeezed Honey like a teddy bear, whining.
"Can we snuggle...?" Ellie looked up at her, making a '-w-' face. Honey chuckled softly and kissed her forehead, turning around. Ellie shifted with her, and wrapped her legs around Honey's waist, who set her coffee down.
"Carry me, my dearest, bitch." Ellie giggled, burying her face in Honey's neck, Honey chuckling once again as she carried Ellie to the couch, sitting down.
"You really didn't sleep much?" Honey sipped her coffee, her eyebrows coming together in slight worry. Ellie shook her head.
"Sorry. I just didn't want to sleep after...." She giggled. "Anyways, I was busy explaining to my boss over email how I wanted to take the day off."
" Why's that? "
"Because... I've got something planned... That is, if I ever feel like getting up." Both Ellie and Honey laughed, Ellie kissing Honey's nose.
"I was thinking the park?" Ellie tilted her head, Honey nodded.
"Why not? Also, I love you, my blueberry~" She nuzzled Ellie, smiling. Ellie nuzzled back, giggling.
"I love you too~" Ellie cupped Honey's face, staring into her eyes before leaning in and kissing her sweetly. Honey smiled and kissed back.
She pulled away and leaned her forehead against Ellie's, giggling like a small child would.
"It's already been five years, huh?" Honey chuckled.
"Yeah. Five years since I confessed... And mom walked in on us cuddling..." Ellie laughed. "Remember when I caught her and dad taking pictures of us cuddling?"
Honey nodded. "Honestly, I still find it shy but adorable how you confessed. I was so shocked you liked me back, if I'm being honest. "
"Yeah. What sucks is.. Remember when we were younger and your mother threw a glass ball at your face? " Ellie and Honey shivered. "I remember the doctors saying that you were pretty fucking lucky."
"Yeah, then mom lost custody, for obvious reasons. And you guys pretty much fostered me till dad came back and fought the second custody war and won." Honey smiled, kissing Ellie's forehead.
"Yeah. Wait, where are your glasses, Missy?" Ellie narrowed her eyes, putting her hands on her hips dramatically.
"I...i left them upstairs "
Ellie nodded and hopped off Honey, nearly falling over the coffee table. She ran upstairs and grabbed Honey's glasses on her bedside's table, then sifted through her own bedside table a second.
Ellie pulled out a small navy blue box, breathing deeply. She smiled and put it in her jacket pocket that was on the inside, so Honey wouldn't see it.
She hurried downstairs and handed Honey her glasses, sitting next to her. Ellie giggled at her kissing her forehead, kissing Honey's cheek.
"So, any luck finding a publishing company?" Honey sipped her coffee, glancing at Ellie who shrugged.
"Some try to make me put less gay in it, others just flat out say no. Sorry for that, bunny. Looks like your book isn't getting published anytime soon." Ellie sighed.
"It's alright."
Ellie smiled and nodded, snuggling into Honey's chest. She watched the show they'd put on, smiling still.
"No need to put the weight on you, but are you making breakfast or not?" Honey looked at Ellie.
Ellie rolled her eyes. "Make it yourself."
" You know I'd burn the house down. "
"I know." She giggled and hopped up, walking into the kitchen. Ellie pulled some eggs and such out of the fridge, turning the stove top on.
She finished, setting the food on the dining table, clapping her hands. Ellie chuckled as she watched Honey come in the dining room, sitting at the table as she took a plate out.
Ellie followed suit and sat beside her, waiting for Honey to grab her own food first. After she'd finished, Ellie served herself to some bacon, eggs, and toast.
She sat down, smiling. Everything was going well, and she was happy. Ellie ate, a smile still resigning on her face
After they ate, Honey went off to work on her laptop for a bit, Ellie drawing. Silence never often filled the house, but it was nice when it did.
Around noon, Ellie got up and slipped her shoes on, Honey chuckling and getting up as well. Together, they left the house, hand in hand.
"How's your cousin holding up?" Ellie looked up at Honey.
"Levi's doing great." Honey smiled.
"That's good."
Ellie kept walking, and noticing they were approaching the park, she tightly gripped the small box in her jacket. Honey didn't notice, too busy admiring the nature in the park.
Ellie looked around the park, smiling. "Pretty, isn't it?" She asked, Honey nodding.
"So, Honey." Ellie looked at her .
"Hm?" Honey faced her. "Yes loves?"
" There's something I want to say. " Ellie bit her lip.
"Go on."
" I know I haven't always been the best... " Ellie chuckled, taking Honey's hand. "But will you make my day, well more or so my life-" Ellie kneeled. "-by marrying me?"
" Yes. " Honey grinned, tightly hugging Ellie, as she her.
After a bit , Ellie pulled away, smiling as she slipped the ring on Honey's finger.
"Let's go get some coffee."
