I stood near the harbor, waiting for Amagi, Akagi and Kaga. After few hours, I see their ships and they were follow by two Iris ship, Richelieu and Jean Bart. I walk toward the harbor meanwhile they were docking their ships.

Once their ships were dock, they get down and I saw them walk toward me. I smile and wait. Once they were close I ask

(Y/N): Is the mission was a success

Amagi: Yes shikikan, the base has been completely destroy, they will need few month to repair it.

(Y/N): And the enemy commander

Amagi: Incompetent, he didn't give a single order to his ships. They were launch into the battle doing whatever they want

(Y/N): I see that my thought was true

Amagi: Yes, for one moment I thought it would be a battle of tactic.

Her fox ears fall on her head. I pet her head

(Y/N): If you want, we can do shogi

Amagi ears go up when she hear that

Amagi: I will gladly accept this offer

(Y/N): I'm happy even if the ships do not receive orders, you came back without a scratch. Take some rest, I will prepare the next battle. After your rest, we will do shogi Amagi

They go away while I look at them with a smile

I stood infront of a table with a map on it. I look at where we could attack to have an advantage against Azur Lane. I then look at some island

(Y/N): The marshall island. It would be a great diversion. Then I will took the island where I die, Midway. Even though, if I do that , our base will be greatly unprotected and an attack could be possible. It's 50/50. Should I try or no. If it work, we will have a greater influence in the Pacific, if not, it could be the end of the Empire.

But at the end I came at the same conclusion what ever I do

(Y/N): The base of pearl Harbor must been taken if we want to attack the Eagle Union. That's the only way.

Then I heard the door being open, I look at it to see Amagi

Amagi: How goes your plan shikikan

(Y/N): Hard. No matter what I try to do, it goes at the same conclusion. Pearl Harbor must be ours. That's the only big base in the Pacific.

Amagi: But how will you attack Pearl Harbor if we didn't have troops near this base

(Y/N): The thing is I want to do a distraction in the marshall island. That way, the Eagle Union would sent their fleet to stop our expansion, and then we took Midway. That the only island near Pearl Harbor

(Y/N): It's 50/50. Most of our fleet would be sent to lure Eagle Union, making them think it's our true objective but our other fleet will took Midway. But if they don't fall in this trap, their fleet will be place at Midway and like the past, we would be ambush by them.

Amagi: You don't know if you don't try

(Y/N): The future of the Empire is at the end of this operation

Amagi: Then make sure they think of it as our true objective

I then look at Amagi

I call a man from the transmission

(Y/N): Send encrypted message but make sure it's take by Eagle Union and continue the sending of those message, like that we will force Eagle Union to move their fleet to the marshall island. But make sure the messages of our true objective are protected, no matter what. They have to believe we attack the marshall island.

Man: Yes sir

He quickly leave giving the order. I then look at Amagi

(Y/N): Shall we begin the shogi ?

Amagi: I wait for that

Amagi and I were doing shogi and we were at 10 victory each other. The shipgirls look at our match like if it was a great event.

Akagi: Who do you think will win the last round

Kaga: Amagi seems to be on the way of winning

Atago: I think it will be shikikan who will win

After few minutes, the battle finish into a draw because we took enough chessman to prevent the took of the general.

(Y/N): I agree, this intense match make me want to refresh

We get up and we go to the hot spring and the shipgirls leave do their own life. Once we were infront of the hot spring, we go into the changing room, removing our clothes and took a towel before enter into the hot spring. I sit next of Amagi

We enjoy our time in the hot spring until I feel Amagi hand on my shoulder. I turn my head to look at her

I saw her face turning red
