Not at all. So, she was surprised by their sudden appearance.
She was very surprised, indeed.
"What the fuck?"
After setting up their stolen water drone and taking it out for a test drive that morning, as well as discovering that Pope Heyward was as smart as she had heard in the past — since he was the only one of them that knew how to work it — they decided it would be good enough for their intended purpose. They had also decided to hold off for a while, and wait until the weather was decent enough for their deep water exploration. The last thing they wanted was to try and find the Royal Merchant but end up losing the drone, in the tides. Then they would have no way of finding the gold, nor a way of returning it to it's rightful owner — if they returned it, that was. Admittedly, it was a cool drone; one they could get some fun out of if they kept it for the rest of the summer. It had been dusty, and all signs pointed to it being unused, so would they really miss the item anyway?
