New Friend (Pt.2)

Part 2 of the prior oneshot, since I like this plot and have some stuff planned for it. So this is Pt 2.

Ship: Gream/Dreamnotfound

*Next day at school.*

*Clay POV*

It was now the day after Clay and George hung out at Wendy's. George was still really surprised about what had happened the night before. When Clay left, George saved his number and texted him. They spent the night calling and playing Minecraft online together. George hasn't felt this happy in a while. He was actually really happy someone like Clay found interest in him

Clay on the other hand is actually really nervous from the fact he kissed someone he practically just met, and that it was... another guy. He loved hanging out, talking, and playing games with George. But if he gets seen hanging out with him, his reputation can or will be ruined. He really didn't want to lose any of that. But, he also didn't want to hurt George.

On the way to class Clay was stopped by his bestfriend, Nick.

"Yo Clay", Nick called out. "Where the hell did you disappear to yesterday?" He added walking next to Clay.

"What?", Clay says confused.

"You said you were going to get Wendy's then come hang out with us. You left and didn't say anything for the rest of the day. "

"Oh um, that. I just got caught up in something"

"What were you doing that was so important then?", Nick asked.

Clay sighed, "Don't worry about it, it's not important."

Nick just shrugged."Okay, whatever then. Just at least say something, you kept us waiting."

"Yeah my bad, I guess I forgot."

"No big deal. But you still coming to the drinking spot in the woods?"

"No, I'll be busy with something else after school." Clay replied.

Nick stopped walking. "You? Busy? That's funny." He began to laugh.

"What? I be busy too y' know."

"Clay, you literally only have practice once a week and all you do is hang out with the group. You don't really do much."

"That's not all I do! You're just being stupid."

"Alright if you say so."

The two began walking again and heard some commotion up ahead. Then sees two of their classmates, Mega and Callahan walking from behind a corner laughing. They exchanged quick greetings and just continued on their route to class.

As they pass the corner Mega and Callahan came from they look over and see George cleaning something that was written on his locker.

"You know, I actually feel bad for the guy." Nick started.

"What?",Clay says confused.

"Like that Nate guy was the one who started those rumors about him. I doubt they're true."

"They most likely aren't true. The only reason that happened is he's the only openly gay guy in school. It's not right that he goes through that.", Clay said.

George finished cleaning his locker, then notices Clay and Nick staring. He looked nervous but it faded away once Clay smiled and waved at him. He got a warm feeling in his heart just seeing Clay. He smiled and waved back.

Nick noticed and looked over at Clay skeptical. "Come on Clay, lets get to class"

Clay gave a final wave to George and they headed over to class. The two walked in silence, but something started to bug Nick. The way he waved at George didn't just seem like a friendly gesture from a stranger, more like they knew each other.
