It was cold, dark, and quiet. The moon light shone on the small city. Then, it shattered...Literally. as the moon scatters into thousands of pieces (per-say) a girl watches through the crack in her window.
He eyes open wide, as she stares at what was once a full moon. Now permanently a crescent shape. She smiled, something that was rare, and very strange for the situation at hand.
"I didn't know that it could get prettier." It came out almost inaudible, a sound slightly above a whisper. The smile faded as she looked back down at her peach colored comforter.
"School starts tomorrow, I should probably get some sleep..." the girl thought aloud. She smiled yet again and lays her hade back down from the sitting position she was in before.
"Good night God, see you soon." She said closing her eyes, and letting her self slip into darkness for the night.
