It's been weeks since you and Jah seen each other bout you both got into a really heated argument. You've been bestfriends for a very long time and you're very proud to be his friend. Lately he's been in a dark place and starts leaning towards hard drugs and you really hated it. Your mom was on them for a portion of her life and those were the worse days of your life. Having to see her unable to respond at times, sweating hard and the throw up when you tried to break her from it was awful and then after all the years she gets off he gets on. You tried to talk to him but he didn't listen to you and would get really defensive. You were currently chilling in your room when your phone started ringing. You looked over and grabbed it, seeing it was Stokeley and answered.

"Hello?"

"Yn I need you to get to the hospital ASAP!"

"Why what's going on?"

"It's Jahseh he fucking overdosed himself with these fucking drugs!"

After hearing jahseh overdosing everything froze as you just sat there. There is no way you couldn't believe what he just said. You got up and grabbed all of your things, completely forgetting Stokeley's voice booming through the phone yelling your name and cussing.

"Stokeley I'm on my way breathe I'll be there soon."

I don't remember anything but seeing darkness. Where am I? I tried to wake up but I couldn't. Am I dead? Am I going to hell or am I going to heaven? I fucked up big time for these past few weeks. I pushed my bestfriends away and just relied on drugs heavily due to the fact that I just wanted to numb my pain and my sorrows. I got tired of the voices in my head and I just wanted them to shut up. I laid there feeling cold until I heard someone calling me. Who is this? Sounds like they're crying. I suddenly felt some warmth on my hand and this made me more curious. I listened closely to hear who it was.

"Jahseh why would you do this? I can't lose you I can't..."

Is that yn? After all I put her through she still cares? I have to wake up I just have to. I heard someone else calling me but it sounded far away.

"It's not your time yet you have people to inspire and lead."

After that I slowly woke up, taking in bright lights and gasping for air.

I sat there crying while holding his hand when I heard him gasping and coughing. My head shot up and I looked into his eyes that was dull but soon turned lively. He looked around confused, soon turning to look at me. My eyes teared up as he looked at me while tilting his head.

"Yn?" He asked, voice raspy.

"Don't you ever scare me like that ever again." I said while crying, hugging him tight.
