If looks could kill, he'd be a cold corpse with a hole in the between his head due to how hard you sent him a cold icy glare. He could only squirm at his spot with fingers fidgeting nervously, only relaxing his body once you walked past him without sparing another single-worthy glance.

He knew he should've gotten used to your cold attitude towards him at the end, knowing you wouldn't forgive him about his past mistake as Mitsuru and wouldn't consider him as one of your friends.

You used to smile at him despite your male friend; Kira Hiroto— instructed you not to. But you brushed his warning off, thinking that he is being overly cautious. You never thought that Ichihoshi would ever hurt you.

But you were utterly wrong.

Humiliating you by making some invisible foul moves in the middle of the field, resulting in you to tripped over and eventually touched the ball with your bare hand. That was his nightmare that is still haunting him till today.

With fresh bruises on your skin, you were forced to leave the green field of play after receiving a red card that was shown by the referee. This totally resulted for your team to be in disadvantage.

He remembered he gave you a nonchalant shrug with a smug smirk on his face when your eyes were casted on him. Thankfully Inazuma Japan won the game at the end despite being forced to play with one player fewer.

Since the accident, he has been craving the look of warmth in those [ color ] orbs that seemingly disappeared just by the mention of his name. It would be easy for the others to achieve your smile but it was such an impossible task for him.

He could only sigh helplessly before burying his face into his palms dejectedly. He wants to reverse the time but it would become another impossible task. Like always being told by the others, even the Captain himself, there's no point in crying over spilled milk.

Until that fateful day, everything changed.

Well, at least he's the one who thought it was fate despite it sounds exaggerating.

It was another usual bright sunny day, he decided it would be best for him to take a walk at the park for some fresh air and feel the zephyr dancing across his skin. That doesn't sound bad. He has been locking himself in his room for a quiet time.

As soon as he walked out from his room, much to his luck, he bumped against someone which caused both him and the anonymous to fall on the floor. He quickly pushed himself up and dusting any dirt off from his clothes before holding his hand out for the person.

"Are you okay?"

His whole body tensed while he could feel the rhythm of his heartbeat went a little bit wild upon seeing your face, though something was a bit off. He would've got himself drowning into the depth of those mesmerizing [ color ] orbs if you didn't snap him out of his own thought by your touch against his skin.

"I'm good, thank you."

Since when was the last time he hears your voice?

He was flabbergasted but immediately halfly recovered from it to pulled you on your feet, receiving another gratitude that slipped from your mouth.

"Where are you going?"He unconsciously blurted it out of nowhere and widened his eyes in surprise afterwards.

"To the park."You answered honestly and he never thought you would speak with him again.
