RWBY Plays Titanfall2 -The Campaign [Reboot]

The Pilot's Gauntlet

The game begins I really hope you enjoy this cause I really wanted to write since nobody has apparently which I didn't actually expected but here it is, anyways enjoy!

Cooper's Logbook:

The 9th Militia Fleet is en route to attack an IMC-controlled planet called Typhon. Zero civilian presence - I only know that it houses an "IMC military research facility".

Aboard the James Macallan, my Pilot training continues with Captian Lastimosa, a master level Pilot. I'm not sure why he chose to be my mentor, but this is an opportunity I'd be crazy to pass up.

The scene is shown with the chapter's title: The Pilot's Gauntlet, aboard the MCS James Macallan approaching planet Typhon - IMC territory, before finally opening up to a view of the Rifleman's perspective as he watches his mentor, Cpt. Tai Lastimosa, about to prepare him to enter the simulation where he'll continue his Pilot training. "Here we go. Rifleman Cooper. Ah, hell. Ship must've power cycled the sim pod since last time. We'll have to recalibrate it." Lastimosa said as his titan looms over behind him watching. The rifleman's name is then revealed of 41st Militia Rifleman Battalion.

"Hey, its the pilot in the opening!"Ruby points out.

"Jack Cooper, so that's his name of the rifleman in the opening."Yang said, she smirks.

"Man you really are going to start out as a rifleman."

"Well I'm about to start my pilot training!"

"I actually wonder about what the sim pods for, it sounds rather useful." Blake said curious of its purpose.

"I have the same though, what do they even do?"'Will it be useful for us?' Weiss is also curious of the sim pods, she might try to learn what it is and maybe give sister, Winter some ideas for the Atlas' RnD to replicate it in real life.

'All right, let's do this' Cooper though as he starts pressing buttons and pulled a lever initiating the sim pods as its hatch closes putting the trainee in the dark with dim lighting to see inside the pod, two lights glowed requiring the Cooper's calibration to be able to use the sim pod fully.

Ruby uses the controls to get a feel before settling to the settings she likes.

Lastimosa asked if the rifleman feels right with the controls before receiving a confirmation. "All right, we're good to go, let's see how much you remember from last time... Setting the neural link. Not quite the same as Titan link, but it's similar." Then green lights start to emit and scan Cooper, creating a neural link to the pod system about to send to the simulation world. 'Yeah, still not use to yet.'

"New-ral, what?" Yang said confused of the word.

"Neural, relating to a nerve or the nervous system in our brain." Weiss gives answers to her question.

"Oh... what's the machine do?" Ruby ask.

"Well I don't know. But from the word 'neural link' I assume he means to create a connection between the mind and the machine" Weiss actually though of how ingenious the idea is, creating a connection between the human mind and machine can be a technological marvel, she might want to take note of it actually.

"To learn new skills, we need to be in a right state of mind." Cooper's vision briefly flashes white before his vision return to normal and instead of the sim pod he was in he is now inside of the simulation world, limestone walls surround him and a little river that runs down ahead and drops of floating up, and sitting on the obstacle is Lastimosa, "Ah. Much better."
