gemini: the shoulders

do you know yourself
as if you were unclothed
present to the night sky
moonlit as the surface of a lake
as undisturbed
when you preach creation and fail
in performance
when the question of yourself
ignites like a torch
and you can't put out the fire
an incongruous symbol
a nod toward the dead
rules of ancient living
of a silvery need for survival
there will be no reclining
nor rest
the hornet inside is a mud dauber
picking at your atlas muscles
tendon for procreation
enzyme for strength
turn to face the nature as it is
waterlogged wood
silted earth with sand at the mouth
of a river
a tundra plain rich with permafrost
where nothing decomposes
the land you have set your sights on
to crown yourself homesteader
if anyone needs your gravity
it is you

Gemini rules the shoulders. They hold their worries, often concealed and buried, as a burden over themselves. This hidden conflict can leave others unsure about their true selves.
