One month had passed to their marriage but still their distances were there as previously.

Neither Roshanne tried to get closer nor Mahbir broke the walls around him.

In this past month they had seen each other once or twice.

Roshanne used to sleep before he comes back from office and have her breakfast before he wakes up. Rest of her used to pass in her home.
Zobia had allowed her to have online education. She was busy with that.

This way their life was passing living under same roof but still like strangers.

Mahbir's p.o.v

After Nabhan's nikkah I reached home late.

It was 2 in night when I entered in home.

"Finally home sweet home!!"
I whispered and started walking towards my room while loosing my tie.

My coat was hanging on my arm.

I was walking pass by Roshanne's room when I heard strange voices.

"Roshanne!!!"
I knocked on her door but didn't get any answer.

"Are you Okay? Roshanne??"
I was about yo knock again when door cracked opened. It wasn't locked properly so got opened with a light bang.

I stepped in and saw her on bed.
She was making faces while sleeping ad if feeling pain somewhere.

"Please!! Don't.. hurt me.. Please!!"
She started shouting while scratching her neck as if trying to get it out of someone's grip.

I kept looking at her until she started crying hardly and blood started ozing from her neck which she scratching badly.

"Roshanne!!"
I threw my coat on sofa at side and went towards her.

"Roshanne!!!"
I jerked her arm.

"Pleassseee!!! Don't hurt him!!! Don't!!! Mahbir!!! Run!!"
She started wailing. I froze on my spot listening my name from her mouth. It was the first time she took my name.

"NOOoo!!!"
Her scream brought me out of my trance.

I quickly  looked at her who was now pulling her hair.

"Roshanne!!! Hold on!! "
I said holding her wrists but she was moving badly.

"Wake up!!! ROSHANNE!!!"
I shouted cupping her face.

She opned her eyes and sat up screaming.

"They will kill me. They will kill you!! Mahbir!! You go!! Go away!!"
She started pushing me back.

She was panicking badly.
It was getting harder for me to control her.

I didn't think for once and hugged her tightly.

She kept on pushing me and punching my chest but I tighted my grip more, stroking her hair.

Moments passed and when I guess she got tired her movements halted.

Her sniffing sound was still coming.

"Shh!!! I am here!! No one will hurt no neither. I am right here!!"
I said stroking her hair.
