.Chapter 2.

.Hayes.
Aang,Katara and I started packing up camp.I can tell Katara doesn't like me very much,but she has to deal with it because Aang wanted another member of Team Avatar.

"We have to see the Southern Air Temple.It's beautiful!" Aang says excitedly.

I walk over to Sokka and nudge him.

"Get up Sokka." I say.

"No.To comfortable." Sokka says.

I shoot a little bit of fire out of my hand a heat up Sokka's sleeping bag.

Sokka gets up and starts running around screaming.

"Sokka,it's just Hayes and her fire bending." Katara says.

"Not funny Hayes!"

We were riding Appa heading to the Southern Air Temple.

"Where's my seal jerky?" Sokka asks.

"Oh,that was food?I used it to start our fire." Aang answers.

"No wonder the flames smelled so good." Sokka says sadly.

I chuckle and look at Katara.

"Aang,don't get your hopes up.They might've been killed by the Fire Nation." Katara says looking at me.

"What!If they are dead I didn't do it!" I say.

"Don't worry.They're still be there." Aang says. "You need a flying bison to get there."

"There it is!" I yell pointing at the air temple.

We land and get off Appa.I look around while I braid my hair.

"Where is everyone?" I ask.

"Where do you think?" Katara asks.

"I never been here.Why are you turning to me like I did it?" I ask.

"The Fire Nation killed my mother!" Katara yells.

"Wow how fascinating,your mommy's dead!My father hates me,I haven't seen my mom in years,my brother can barley look at me,and my sister is crazy out of her mind!Not to even mention-" I say before I stop myself.

I sigh and walk away.

"Hayes wait up!" Sokka yells.

I stop and wait for Sokka.

"What Sokka?" I ask as we walk.

"Not to mention what?" He asks.

"I'm sorry for what I said about your mom.It was the heat of the moment and I just forgot you-" I begin to say before Sokka puts his hand over my mouth.

"Not to mention what?" He asks again removing his hand from my mouth.

"Nothing.Just drop it please." I say. "Let's get back to Aang and Katara."

We start walking back and hear Katara yell.We run over and see her next to a Fire Nation helmet.

"We can't tell Aang." Katara says.

"He has to find out soon." Sokka says. "Hayes are you okay?"

"What's going on?" Aang asks.

Katara bends some snow down onto Sokka.

"I wanted to show you my snowbending." Katara says.

"Let's continue the tour." Aang says.

"You can't shield him from the world forever." Sokka says brushing the snow off him.

We follow Aang to a statue of a guy named Monk Gyatso.Aang bows and introduces us.

"This is Monk Gyatso,he was like my father." Aang says.

"I bet he was a great man." Katara says.

We arrive at some place called the Air Temple Sanctuary.

"I'm supposed to meet someone,and I'm ready to meet them." Aang says.

Aang opens the doors,but I wait outside.Before Sokka goes in he walks up next to me.

"It's not your fault." He says.

I nod my head and he goes in.I wonder around for a while.Suddenly I hear something.I get ready to fight,but it's just a small lemur.I pick it up and we walk into the sanctuary.

"It's me and a lemur." I say.

Sokka,Aang,and Katara come from behind some statues.

"I'm gonna explore some more,you guys can stay here." Aang says.

I walk up to Katara. And drop the lemur.

"I'm sorry." We both say at the same time.

"I shouldn't have made it seemed like you killed Aangs people."

"I shouldn't have said what I did about your mom." I say.

She gives me a hug and I hug her back.

"The lemur!" I yell. "There gonna eat it!"

We run after the boys and see Sokka outside a tent.We run up to him and see Aang in the tent.

"Oh no." I mumble.

Suddenly Aang goes into the Avatar State.

"AANG,CALM DOWN!PLEASE!" I yell over all the commotion.

"NO!" Aang says demandingly.

He knocks me to the ground with air bending and I black out.
