Stargazing

Night.
The suns gone.
No light.
What's going on.
I see the light.
It's high in the sky.
There's a lot of it.
But not enough to ignite this night.

I see the stars.
Shining brightly at me.
Reminding me.
There's always a form of light in the night.
Even if it's dim, or dull, or far away.
It's there.
To remind me it's okay.

I stare at the stars.
Wondering, if they stare back.
Or if the light I see is from light years back.
I wonder.
Is the star still there.
Or is it that every light we see from these stars just remnants of what once was.
We'll never know.

But that's what's exciting.
Not knowing.
So we can keep going.
Finding new paths and new information.
Learning about everything give life a new meaning.
So because of this.

I'll keep Stargazing.
