Chapter 166: Back To That Key Moment

TL: SnowTime, Sarah

Qin Yuan returned and prepared equipment that day and personally sailed back to secretly move Flames’ coffin back to the island. Since he knew nothing of Flames’ current condition, he did not rashly move him out. Instead, he opened the coffin lid to make it easier for him to move about when he woke up.

In addition to that, Qin Yuan installed a tight surveillance system around and did not allow anyone to come near the area. The island was currently undergoing construction. The house he lived in was at a relatively secluded location and usually did not see many visitors.

Qin Yuan felt that having insomnia was pretty nice for the first time. He could stay by Flames side and patiently wake for him to wake up without rest. However, on the afternoon of the seventh day, Qin Yuan suddenly felt a wave of sleepiness hit him. His eyelids slowly slid down until he fell asleep. In his remaining consciousness, he seemed to have seen a familiar figure slowly walking to him, gently calling his name…

Flames, you’re back?

Qin Yuan was really too tired. His eyes remained closed like they were glued together. As he felt the ocean breeze on his skin, he thoroughly fell to sleep.

A fair hand gently rubbed Qin Yuan’s hair. Shang Ke stood by him naked, his eyes full of joy and tenderness.

In fact, his consciousness had long been awake, but his body wasn’t done healing. He was very clear on how Qin Yuan lived the past few days. Besides leaving to do some work, he spent almost all of his time watching him—for a whole seven days and nights. From the random bits he heard from Secretary An Song, he learned that Qin Yuan suffers from insomnia and hasn’t truly slept in a long time.

Observing Qin Yuan’s eyebags and weary appearance, Shang Ke really felt distressed.

As such, the first thing he did was to hypnosis Qin Yuan into sleeping with the dolphins’ sound wave ability. He wanted him to sleep well, raise his spirits and meet again for the first time since his return.

Shang Ke first carried Qin Yuan to bed, then went to the bathroom and rinsed himself off. After he cleaned himself up, he smoothly slipped under the blanket and lied next to Qin Yuan.

Qin Yuan seems to have sensed something as his body moved in a better position. His head leaned against Shang Ke while his arms wrapped him into his chest. His face relaxed like a lazy cat.

Shang Ke dropped a kiss to his forehead, “My dear, sweet dreams.”

Qin Yuan smiled in his sleep, but a drop of tear shone slipped down his eye.

Ding ding ding… After an unknown period of sleep, Qin Yuan’s phone started to ring.

Shang Ke hurriedly hung up the call and checked the caller ID. It was An Song. Currently it was 7 PM, he was probably calling to remind Qin Yuan to eat.

Shang Ke thought a bit, then sent a short text to him. The content of the message was to have him not disturb Qin Yuan if there was nothing important. Compared to dinner, what Qin Yuan needed more now was sleep.

Successfully sending off the text, he also placed the phone on silent before lying back down. He wasn’t sleepy at first, but after watching Qin Yuan sleep so well, he also closed his eyes and cheerfully went to sleep.

The next morning, while Shang Ke was sleeping soundly, he felt as if a feather had brushed his face. It was light, soft and warm.

The “feather” stopped on his lips, sliding back and forth, and then slowly poking his teeth.
