Hopeless

HOPELESS

Everything gone..

Madness around, Twas it

What I wished?

Or would I explain;

The shattering of hearts,

Nor the sense of hopelessness.

Could I drownd my sorrows?

I fear naught;

As these tears fall from my eyes,

The pain of another.

If they say the eyes are the

Doorway to one's soul,

Ask me, why are mine still closed?

A distinct feeling of loss; loss

Of hope for tomorrow, the loss of love.

Shall my heart beat,

With the weight of my unshed tears?

I fear naught once again.

Nothing shall be suffice for

The hopeless me.

Could I, bless the forsaken one?

And turn a blind eye to mine?

For I fear life's just

Not that simple.

'Fraid not, for it left me here...

Mourning what,

couldn't be.
