Third person's POV
The welcomed party was so much fun, everyone enjoyed especially Y/n, Everyone have started leaving one by one except for one person
Sumihiko stayed and helped Ume clean the table even though they suggested for him to take a rest since he have already done a lot
Sumihiko kept on insisting with helping which made Ume to sigh and give in.
Y/N was inside his room resting since he still needs time to regain his strength. Even though he feel exhausted he couldn't help but to smile
Downstairs in the kitchen Ume handed sumihiko the tray that consist of the medicine's for Y/n , He looked at Ume with confused expression
"My hands are full." She smirked and lifted both her hand holding a plate.
Sumihiko sighed and headed towards Y/n's room, He could feel his heart beating faster each time he gets closer to the door
He remembered how he got his very first kiss In that room, and the day Y/n confessed
He felt guilt bubbling up his stomach as he remembered running away from fear and confusion.
Standing in front of the door, he raised his hand to knock when suddenly the door opened and right in front of him was Y/n wearing a hoodie and sweatpants
Sumihiko's cheeks flared up ,he looked down and raised the tray in front of Y/n who simply chuckled at his flustered state
Y/n uses his index finger and placed it under sumihiko's chin and lifted his head up and their eyes locked together
"H-heres the medicine.. " Sumihiko stuttered
Y/n ignored the tray and grabbed Sumihiko's wrist and pulled him inside the room before shutting he door
He grabbed the tray away from the confused sumihiko and placed it on top of his bedside table, He opened one of the drawers and pulled out something
Sumihiko tried to peek by tiptoeing, he could spot something shiny and round..his eyes widened when he realized what it was
Y/n turned back to face sumihiko who's face was red as a tomato, smiled and grabbed one of Sumihiko's hand and put on a ring on his ring finger
The ring was silver with a cresent moon engraved on it, Sumihiko could feel his eyes tear up as he saw Y/n put on a ring as well
"It's a promise ring, I bought it the day before the Play thinking I could give it to you and tell you how much I love you but things happened that's why I didn't get to give you this" Y/n said as he stared at the ring on Sumihiko's finger while running his finger on top of it
"Do you know what a promise ring symbolizes?" Y/n asked and looked up to see Sumihiko's face red as a tomato and has tears running down
He smiled softly and wiped away the tears on Sumihiko's face
"It symbolizes many things.." Y/n leaned closer
"To be faithful..." He planted a kiss on his foread
"To have your significant other forever" He kissed the tip of his nose causing for sumihiko to chuckle
"To keep any promises .." he kissed his cheek
"And lastly.." Y/n backed away a bit and locked eyes with sumihiko who's smiling at him, his eyes trailed from his eyes down to his lips
"To return to your Significant Other" Sumihiko finished the sentence and closed the gap between them, pressing his lips on Y/n's
The kiss was full of emotions, They could feel each others love coming from the kiss they're sharing, They feel as if everything disappeared around them leaving them in the middle of an empty space
The kiss was interrupted by a knock coming from the door, The both pulled away and turned towards the door
"Hey lovebirds, Sumihiko's mom is here to pick him up" Ume said before walking away
The two looked back at each other then giggled.
"That was something I'll never get used to.." Y/n said as he wrapped his arms around Sumihiko's waist pulling him closer
"Me too." Sumihiko wrapped his arms around Y/M's neck and smiled
"See you tomorrow?" Y/n asked as he placed his forehead's on Sumihiko's forehead
"See you tomorrow." Sumihiko nodded
The two hugged each other tightly before going out the room holding hands, Ume raised and eyebrow then smirked as she saw the ring on both their fingers
She whistled and continued scrolling through her phone, Y/n rolled his eyes and guided Sumihiko out the house after saying his farewell to his parents
Outside was a car, Inside the car was Sumihiko's mother waiting, a smile immediately went up to her lips when she saw her son walking out the house with the Boy whom he kept talking about
Just before sumihiko could get inside the car he turned to face Y/n and gave him the softest smile that made Y/n's heart flutter
"Goodnight, Y/n" Sumihiko said and entered the backseat
The car started and before leaving Sumihiko mouthed a few words which made Y/n to smile and mouthed back an
"I Love you too.."
