“Are you sure you want to buy him a necklace? No offense but isn't that a bit cliché?” Yoshiteru asked Y/n who's busy glancing down at the glass box where there's variety of necklaces laid out

“I ran out of idea okay? Besides, I've heard a saying that necklace is the closest to someone's heart.” Y/n said sighing before walking to a different side to look at other Necklaces

“How about a ring?” Aoi suggested holding up two ring holders that has silver rings inside

“That's a wedding ring, Aoi” Yoshiteru said face-palming

“What? They're gonna get married anyways so why not speed run it?” Aoi said smiling

“This isn't Minecraft you dummy.” Yoshiteru said tugging on his hair

“I'm your dummy.” Aoi said then slapped a hand on her lips, her eyes widened at the words she just blurted out

“For the love of God can you two help me? You can flirt later all you want.” Y/n said in front of then groaning

The two looked at each other before snickering and deciding to help their poor friend into picking a necklace that will suit sumihiko.

“T-TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS!?” Both Aoi and Yoshiteru yelled in utter shock at how ridiculously expensive the necklace was

“THAT'S TOO EXPENSIVE! TAKE SUMIHIKO INTO PARIS INSTEAD OF BUYING THAT SMALL STONE!” Yoshiteru yelled while shaking Y/n back and forth

Apparently, Y/n have found the most beautiful necklace which was at the very back of the jewellery store inside a glass box away from the rest and is in the middle.

“You're seriously buying it?” Aoi asked looking at the necklace in amazement

“It's a 2 carat diamond and a pure silver necklace so of course it would be expensive...” Y/n said already signing some papers

“E-EH?! ARE YOU- WHY- JUST HOW RICH ARE YOU!?” Yoshiteru asked while pointing a finger at Y/n who simy ignored him and continued to talk to the lady behind the desk while carefully packaging the necklace.

After a few minutes the trio finally left the store, Y/n smiling widely while the two was looking at their friend worriedly

“Dude how rich are you?” Yoshiteru asked

“You bought that diamond necklace like it's nothing.” Aoi said still a bit shock

Y/n ignored them as he continued to admire the small piece of stone that was Hanging from the silver chain that is neatly placed inside the box

“It's definitely worth it..”

The next day came and Y/n was excited to go to school, not for the test but to see Sumihiko and give him the necklace.

He noticed that Sumihiko has this crescent moon shaped necklace that felt somewhat familiar to him as if something like that have belonged to him before but he could just remember when and where exactly

All of this strange dreams he's having have been troubling him, there would always be someone who looks like Sumihiko calling out to him while smiling but the strange things is he's wearing a checkered haori and a uniform also there's a katana on his side

The male in his dreams had the necklace, it was very visible on his neck..

'Who is he...and why does he keep appearing in my dreams?'

Shaking his thoughts away he finished wearing his uniform and styling his hair, he made sure he doesn't look like a mess before meeting Sumihiko who's probably already at the school waiting for him

Kagaya drove him to the school along with his sister Ume who's in college, Kagaya pats his shoulder and gave him a thumbs up

“Good luck.” Kagaya said before driving off

Y/n stood there shocked and confused, he was thinking whether Kagaya knows about the necklace or he's just giving him good luck for the exams..

Ignoring all his thoughts and doubts he immediately went towards his classroom and took a seat Beside Aoi since, their new teacher Mr. Kibutsuji or Y/n's biological father even though he denies it have arranged the seats and placed Y/n on the front so he could keep an eye on him

Weirdo, or that's what he calls him since Muzan never breaks eye contacts whenever he wouldd explain something.

But he's not gonna lie, Muzan is a great teacher, he explains every lesson rather fairly and never missed an opportunity to help a student whenever they're struggling with something.. Of course Y/n gets the more attention.

Whenever he would stand in front of them, he would feel himself sinking deeper on his chair as his father's eyes watches him like a hawk waiting to pounce at its prey

Sumihiko would sometimes try to call for Y/N but would fail since Muzan would catch him and give him a condescending smile that would often send shivers down his spine

Y/N was too preoccupied with his thoughts that he didn't even noticed someone was already standing behind him

He felt his entire body stiffened up when he felt a weight on his shoulder, in his peripheral vision he could see the profile of his father looming over him as he smiled with his eyes closed making his stomach churn at how fake it was

“Goodmorning, Y/N.”
