A/N: I have no idea why I felt the need to write another chapter for this but yeah. This chapter is a bit...different than the others. Tenya will make an appearance at the end. Ft. Our favorite southern belle, Dolly.

"Fuck are you looking at?"

It isn't that Katsuki is looking for a fight. For once, he's not actually in the mood to be confrontational. He's been exhausted lately with a recent spike in villain activity and, as Tenya would say, he's working himself to near death. He promised his overexcited boyfriend that he'd relax a little. That he doesn't have to go after every petty theif or every peeping Tom. To let the police do their jobs. More than anything, he just wants to finish this patrol route and get back to the dorms for a much needed weekend off.

He's been fairly well behaved this evening. Hasn't even so much as raised his voice at anyone---has allowed Todoroki to walk beside him instead of screeching that he walk behind him instead.

So why is this half-assed idiot giving him the eye?

To catch it once or twice, Katsuki had blown it off. But once two or three became several dozen times within the last two hours was hard to ignore and it was beginning to make him quite irate.

The duo-quirked teen holds Katsuki's gaze a moment before he looks ahead of them.

"You and Iida seem very happy together."

Katsuki falters in his gait, brows pinched in a cocktail of skepticism and mild annoyance. Why even bring this up?

"Yeah. So?"

"Nothing. I just didn't think you'd be each other's types is all."

"Well obviously you thought wrong, shit stain."

"So it would seem. It's good to see you smile more. You deserve it."

Katsuki feels a little odd about this encounter, falling behind Shouto as standing next to him gives him an odd feeling in his stomach. He can't remember the last time he'd felt butterflies for the taller teen. Can't imagine he'd ever think to find himself in such an awkward situation either. Why's he so nervous?

"Obviously didn't think I deserved it enough. If you did, you wouldn't have..." He trails, biting down on the inside of his cheek and mentally scolding himself for even indulging in this conversation. It's stupid. And it's pointless. The past isn't something that can be changed. He's already learned to deal with it and move on.

Or...at least he tries.

Todoroki turns to face Katsuki and the blonde comes to an abrupt halt, eyes glued to the sidewalk so he doesn't have to look Todoroki in the eyes.

"I'm...I'm sorry about that---"

"Shut up---just...fuckin' stop---"

"But I am, Katsuki. I spend every day regretting what I did to you. It hurt you and I didn't even stop to think that I'd broken your heart. I was selfish. And I'm sorry about that. I don't want you to hate me. I don't want you to be mad at me anymore."

"Well it's not about you anymore, is it, Todoroki-san?" Katsuki hisses through clenched teeth, pushing past him to get on with his shift. He doesn't have time for this. For second guessing. For fake remorse and empty apologies. "You knew you'd hurt me. You knew it would hurt when you did that and you still did it anyway; you're fucking cruel. You don't even care about me, you just care that I'm giving someone else my attention now."

Footsteps come hot on his trail. Todoroki is double timing to keep up with him and it's then that Katsuki realizes that he's bordering on a jog.

"That's not true. I...I mean, yes, I did know that it would possibly hurt you but I didn't understand how wrong it was until after it was already done. Seeing you with someone else just helped me realize that I really blew it---"
