The next day

School was fine, not the best thing in the world, but Shindou was grateful that at least he wasn't sick and stuck at home anymore, although he can't deny that Tenma taking care of him was kinda like heaven. As for the brunet himself, he was looking more than partially normal which he's happy about, but he wasn't really paying any attention to class, he had way too many things in his mind, but he did have a pretty good poker face so the teachers didn't notice him dazing off.

Practice was a bummer though, because he had to concentrate in order to not let his friends get suspicious about his behaviour, and probably most important of all is to not look like a fool in front of everyone.

During midnight

The brunet was back on his computer, just like he has been for the past 2-3 days, but this time he went back to his brother's list wanting to finish the information provided, and see if there was anything that could help with his investigation

Currently he is single and has never been married before, but he did have an ex-girlfriend who's name was-

'Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh...' Tenma could hardly breathe while reading the next part

'Matsukaze Kanae...'

'Mom...' Tenma was sobbing quietly, not wanting to wake anyone up, thought he doubted that any of them could possibly hear him. After he calmed down, he kept on reading and in the end he decided that it's about time for the family to know what he has been up to these past couple days.

The next day

It was one of those special days where everyone had their day off from school and work, perfectly fitted for Tenma. He gathered everyone in the living room and started telling them from start to finish what he has been doing these past couple days, everything he had found and what he has concluded, while also showing them the list from his brother and the link with all the hidden news and reports. All of them were stunned, the father and mother didn't expect this coming from a young kid and the captain didn't how to take all of this in, the crimes, the accident, the amnesia... He just discovered a whole different side about the person who he once called uncle - though frankly said he's now a murderer -, they were all speechless until the brunet broke it

"Sir, I know that this is none of my business, but being your son's bodyguard means that I have to keep him safe so the sooner he is delt with, the sooner all of you will be free." Said the brunet, they didn't know how to respond him, they were sad yet also touched by the effort that Tenma had put into this for them

"We're taking down my brother..." Said the father with a serious tone "His jealousy has gone too far, to the extend of putting lives on the line, it's about time to stop his madness..." The family and the bodyguard smiled at him "But there's one more thing left, how are we gonna convince the police about all of this when we have no solid proof...?"

"Proofs don't have to show up immediately sir." The family rose a confused eyebrow and the brunet told them his plan to take down Shindou Mizunari

"I still don't get where you're going with this Tenma-kun." Said the father

"Me neither." Agreed the senior with his mother nodding her head, the brunet simply replied

"Trust me ma'am, sir, senpai. While you guys do that, I'll handle the rest of it." They still had confusion in them, but they knew that they could fully trust the brunet, especially after he has done so much for them. Before they knew it, they had been talking for the entire evening, so they all agreed to go and rest, since tomorrow is gonna be one big day, they were all going to their bedrooms to call it a day, but Shindou stopped his bodyguard during his track

"Tenma-" He said placing a steady hand on his shoulder "-why would you go so far for me and my family...?" The brunet looked down for a bit before lifting his head up, not daring to meet the captain's eyes

"I honestly don't know, I've been like this ever since I was a little kid, I just couldn't stand seeing others suffering." Said the brunet with a sad gaze in his metallic orbs "Probably because of my childhood..."

"Your... childhood...?" Tenma finally looked at his senior and saw that he had a worried frown on his face, he sighed before saying

"I'll explain tomorrow, when all of this is over..." They ended off their little conversation there and Shindou suddenly had a strike of regret, seeing that his junior was now sad because of his stupid question

'Why couldn't I just keep my mouth shut!? Stupid, stupid, stupid!' That was all he thought while heading towards his room.

During midnight

'Tomorrow's the big day, the day where we're gonna put his madness to an end. It may hurt but...we certainly can't let him continue living in his own lie...' Thought the brunet while turning on his computer 'Today I have one more thing left to research... Let's see if the website has anything to offer...' He entered the link once again, and scrolled down through the entire content, carefully looking for any hidden hints. When he scrolled down to very bottom there was another link, he clicked on it and it required another password, he tried the same one for the original link but it didn't work, so he sat there and tried to open it, in the end, he did it! Just like with the last one. When he finally got to see the content of the new link, he didn't know what to feel, sad, happy, angry... It was all very overwhelming for him

'I knew it...' He took out his hidden USB and downloaded both links along with the document that had both passwords. With that done, he finally drifted off to sleep, impatiently waiting for the next day to come.
