Luna - Randall Carpio

Chapter 1

"Come on Randy we have class today and we have to show around the freshmen" Octavia sighed as she sat up from the bed and brushed her brown hair behind her ears and pulled the top bed sheet of the bed to wrap around her body as she walked over to their shared bathroom

"Come on just stay in bed with me for a little bit longer" Randall mumbled as he reached his arm out around the bed looking for his girlfriends warm body but he shut up when he couldn't feel her and he noticed her shutting the bathroom door

"No. You have to get ready for today" Octavia called out as she turned on the shower and got in. The bathroom door opened and she didn't bother to check who it was cause she already knew it was Randall "nope. Get out we're gonna be late for school"

Randall hopped in the shower behind her and began to wash her hair for her while she faced away from him

"No funny business" she mumbles and closes her eyes as his fingers massages her scalp with the shampoo

"Of course" he says and kisses her shoulder blade then instructs her to keep her eyes clothes and he moves her under the water and begins to wash the shampoo out of her hair and then repeats the process with the conditioner

"It's a new year which means new recruits for the order" Octavia frowns and steps out of the shower and wraps the towel around her body and walks out of the bathroom to get her dressed

"Don't stress babe. Everything is gonna be fine. Well handle it" Randall says as they begin to quickly get changed and then rush downstairs to find the others and that Hamish has made them all toast and they grab a piece and chuck their bags over their shoulders

"I'm not stressed Randy I'm just not particularly looking forward to the newbies trying out new magic and then us having to run out and stop them every five fucking seconds" Octavia sighs but then smiles and kisses the boy on the lips quickly "sorry I've been ranting all morning let's get to school"

"Yay school" Lilith says from behind them and stands next to Octavia and they give each other their notorious grins that they usually gave each other when they were about to get up to trouble

"You two. At least try to behave okay" Hamish says from behind them

"Of course. When have we ever not behaved" Octavia grinned sweetly and Hamish raised his eyebrows at the girl with a bored expression on his face

"Do you really want me to answer that" Hamish asks with a sly grin on his face

"Probably not" Octavia sighs and then grabs her boyfriends hand and they all get in the car and drive to school.

"Okay house rules. If I catch you breaking them I got to report you so..." Randall says

"Don't break any rules" Octavia and the boy that they were guiding, Jack, said at the same time

"Don't let me catch you. That's right" Randall says

"Wow Randall what a great influence you are. It's no wonder they choose you to give the room guides. I mean it's not like your telling them to do the wrong thing" Octavia grins over at the boy

Randall stops at a door and begins to knock on it "pants on clay we're combing in" Randall yells

"And don't forget to throw away the tissues" Octavia adds with a giant grin and Jack softly chuckles at the girls additional words

Randall pushes open the door and the three of them walk in and walk over to Jacks side of the room.

"Jack Morton, Clay Turner" Randall says

"What do ya know maybe you two could binge watch Barbie in a dream house together" Octavia grins but then gives clay a kind smile and small wave. The boy was strange but she was always nice to him and didn't laugh or annoy the boy like most of the other students

"How ya going today clay?" She asks softly but makes sure to stay on Jack side of the room.

"Hey" Jack says and smiles over at clay

"Have you ever wondered why you exist?" Clay asks and Octavia let's out a large sigh and turns away from the boy to look around the room awkwardly

"Not really" Jack says and shakes his head as he looked at his new roommate in confusion and Randall sits down on the bed

"Of course not. All you can see is the carrot they want you to chase. A good job, a loving wife a loving boyfriend and a badass girlfriend" Clay says and looks over at Randall and Octavia but then continues "the kids, the summer house, credit cards and the debt. They want you to be a cog in their system"

"Okay..." Octavia mumbles under her breath "someone has gotta make this guy meet up with Shane Dawson or something"

"And then just like that" Clay says and then clicks his fingers "you're dead. There's so much to experience. So much to taste"

Jack looks over at his tour guides in worry and confusion and a lot of other different emotions and Octavia just shrugged her shoulders and Randall does the same and points over at clay

"Don't let someone else define you. Don't waste this opportunity. Don't" clay pauses for a second then continues on "my shit"

Octavia lets out a snort as she tries to contain her laughter and tries to cover it up with a cough while Randall looked over at the girl with a giant grin and sparkling brown eyes as he looked at her and couldn't help but think about how beautiful she was

"Also nice to meet you" clay says and finally smiles at his new roommate and then begins to walk towards the door but jack sticks his hand out for him to shake

"Yeah you too" Jack says and clay just stares down at his hand and then walks out the door of their shared room

"Any questions about changing roommates? No?" Randall asks not giving jack enough time to actually say anything

"Well I'm glad we get to hear all of jacks hopy thoughts at the moment" Octavia says sarcastically

"I know right. It's great. Okay you lose your key and it's 75 dollars to replace it" Randall states and gets off of jacks bed and begins to walk towards the door and Octavia follows after him

"Here is your welcome package. It's got a map of the whole campus" Octavia says and hands the package over to Jack "it's also complete with all the male, female, and non binary bathroom locations. But of course you'll only need to know where the female ones are. There's also a bunch of coupons attached that you'll never even actually use. There is also a rape whistle and a how not to rape pamphlet"

"Any questions" Randall asks

"Nope" Jack says already knowing that the boy probably wouldn't be much of a help anyways

"But if you need a hand with anything don't hesitate to ask" Jack says to the room guides as they walk out the door

"I think I was supposed to say that" Randall laughs and then grabs Octavias hand and they go find the next freshman for them to 'help'
