Randall and Octavia sat in a booth next to each other at the pub and Randall was studying while Octavia was just using the napkins to make origami figures and then helped Randall whenever he needed help. She had her back against the wall as she laid across the seat and her legs were laid out across her lap
"You're gonna think I'm going insane" Jack says as he takes a seat across from the two and neither Randall or Octavia look up from what they were doing
"Already there" says Randall
"We're you ever sane to begin with" Octavia asks with a grin
"I think that I know what is killing everyone" Jack says to them quickly and Octavia finally looks up and gives him an unshaded look
"Good job detective Nancy drew" Octavia grins
"Don't you mean who" Randall asks also looking up
"No definitely what" Jack says and Randall looks confused for a second then a look of realisation covers his face
"Oh you mean like the murder weapon" Randall says excitedly
"Common Nancy what is it a candy cane or maybe a leaf blower" Octavia grins and laughs over at the boy and then slides her origami wolf over to Jack
"What is it like a machete. A parang?" Randall asks excitedly
"A werewolf" Jack says which causes the smile to drop off Octavia and Randall's faces
"Oh yeah a mythical creature" Randall says in sarcasm
"I've seen it it's chasing me. And also I've chased it. Which I think that I need to do again" Jack says
"Dude are you seriously asking us on a werewolf hunt" Randall asked as if it were the most stupidest thing in the world and Octavia leant on the table with a wicked smirk on her face
"And clearly I'm the mayor of crazy town and I'll be going" Jack says and raises his eyebrows and shrugs his shoulders and then gets ready to leave the booth
"Because we are in" Randall and Octavia both say with excited grins and Jack looks at the two In shock and surprise
Jack then gives the two a slight grin before asking "what if I'm wrong?"
"Dude... what if you're right" Randall says
"And who wouldn't want to see a werewolf. Sounds exciting" Octavia grins "I've always had a think for wolves"
After the three split from the bar they decided that they would go get what they needed and then meet back up at the square infront of the library.
It wasn't too cold or hot and there was no breeze blowing but Randall wrapped his jacket around the girls shoulders anyways as they were walking
"So what are we gonna do about it. I mean if Hamish and Lilith find out that this kid knows about us then they will kill him" Octavia says and let's out a long sigh and swings her and Randalls intertwined hands as they walked to where they were supposed to be meeting jack
"Turn him into a werewolf" Randall says and smiles down at her
"Are you serious" Octavia said but then began to think about it "though silverback could see something in him that he likes. Midnight might too, I guess there is only really one way to find out though. See if one of the wolves wanna get themselves another champion"
"It could work you know" Randall states and Octavia nods her head to show that she agreed with him
"But he seems really interested in the order" Octavia says and then notices jack waving at them and she waved back and the couple make there way over to the boy
"Hey Jack you ready to go hunt yourself a werewolf" Octavia asks excitedly
"Yeah I got some stuff in my bag that I thought could help us" Jack says and than Randall opens jacks backpack and looks at the stuff in there in disgust and Octavia begins to laugh her head off
"Well you seem like a natural don't ya. What have you been watching to come up with this idea" Octavia grins as Randall pulls out hamburger patties
"What's with all the hamburgers" Randall asks and then decides to zip up the back pack and then grab Octavias hand again
"I don't know" Jack states and then glares over at Octavia playfully "as the professional werewolf hunter said, I'm a natural"
They see their target that they were going to use as bait, a neophyte, Gabrielle Dupres. The girl was on the phone and was obviously having an argument with someone. Jack. Octavia and Randall all began to walk behind the girl and make sure that it wasn't obvious that they were following her.
"Pretty Badass Morton. Using fellow students as bait" Randall says to jack
"That's not what we are doing" Jack says slowly and then begins to think about what they were doing
"So we're not following suspected pledges around?" Randall asks sarcastically
"And then Hoping that a werewolf will show up and try to kill them. You know what, your right jack. It definitely forgot sound like we are using her as bait" Ella adds sarcastically
"Shit" Jack says as he comes to the realisation of what they were doing and Octavia gives him a pat on the back
"Just like this plan" Octavia says with a smile on her face and brushes a loose hair behind her ear "but I'm all for using her as bait. Sounds kind fun"
"We need a better plan" Jack sighs and looks at the ground and then looks at the girl in agreement
"No way guys. Jack dude come on trust me. This is a great idea" Randall says and then pushes jack in the direction that Gabrielle had gone and then yells "go get her"
"So what do you want to do while we wait for him to get back" Octavia asks "or are we gonna go hunt some werewolves?"
"I can think of lots of things that we could do while we wait for him" Randall says with a smile and a wink which results in Octavia elbowing him in the stomach and laughing
"You know what I need some new clothes. Let's go do some shopping" Octavia grins and Randall lets out a sigh before nodding his head
"You so lucky that I love you" Randall mumbles
"I know" she says with a grin and then stand on her tippy toes and places a kiss on his nose and then runs off
Randall laughs baggies running after her with a giant grin on his face
