Luna - Randall Carpio

Chapter 5

Randall sips on his rum while jack drinks a beer and Octavia drinks a lemonade

"So now its a mud monster?" Randall all's slowly and in confusion. The two werewolves didn't know anything snot a mud monster but it wasn't hard for them to figure out that someone in the order probably had something to do with it but they couldn't figure out why someone from the order souls want to kill their own

"I can't really think of a better way to describe it" Jack says "any idea of shady it might be?"

"I bet you 20 bucks that it is a golem" Octavia says with a grin on her face as she makes a bet with jack

"A golem?" Jack asks in confusion and Octavia mood her head and let's out an over exaggerated sigh

"Jesus. Jacks you never played minecraft before? Basically someone makes out and then the golem basically protects and does everything that the maker tells them to do" Octavia said as she took another so of her lemonade

"Fine then I'll take that bet. Who would turn down a free twenty dollar note" Jack asks with a grin

"I'm gonna be the one that wins that money jack" Octavia says and then leans towards him "you better Have my money ready in time"

"Any  idea Of what it is after?" Randall asks

"It kills pledges. That's all I've got right now" Jack replies

"But why is it targeting you" Randall asks "your not even a pledge"

"And why stop killing Gabrielle?" Jack adds "that attack. It just pattered out like it didn't matter"

"Amir, Dreyer, Weston" Randall says as he tries to put clues together and figure stuff out

"It is a real shame about Amir. He was a real good kid. I didn't know him that well t he seemed real sweet" Octavia states and jack nods his head at her

"Yeah he was" Jack states and a small frown find its way into his face as he thinks about the first friends at this place that he had who was now dead

"They hand got too have something in common" Randall says referring to the kids that had been m killed so far

Nobody said anything as they all began to think of what they had in common that would make someone want to kill them and the jack finally speaks up

"What if they were being eliminated to make room for someone who couldn't make it in on his own" Jack states and looks over at tap boys who had just walked into the  bar. Octavia recognised one to be Kyle and the other one was the guy that was staring at her the other day

"So... you're the killer" Randall asks as he looks over at jack with a sceptical look on his face

"Not me dumbass" Jack says and then gestures over to the boy who was next to Kyle

Randall pushes the door to the house open and holds it open for Octavia who's smiles as she walks in and randall walks on behind her and they walk over to the lounge room where Lilith and Hamish were both in.

Lilith was sitting on the couch on her phone while Hamish was behind the bar making drinks and he handed one to Randall as he walked in and handed the girl a can of coke

"Thanks Hamish. How was your day today" Octavia asks with a smile as she takes the drink and then goes and sits next to Lilith who looked up from her phone with a big smile when her best friend sat down next to her

"It was good Octavia how about yours" Hamish asks her with a smile and takes the drink that he made for himself and then sits on the couch that was for one person and Randall sat down in the other one

"It was fine. Lots of school work to deal with as well as bad magic. It's getting tiring honestly. I'd rather be out doing something else. Something that was fun" Octavia sighed and then layed down on the couch and Lilith grabbed the girls legs and put them over her own and Octavia smiled at the girl

"I know right" Lilith said, agreeing with her best friend "why don't we go and do something fun"

Octavia got an idea and pulled her phone out and then began to message Randall

To Randy: I'll go with Hamish and Lilith and keep them busy while you get jack down here and get him in the basement with the hides. Then we will see if he's a champion

Randall felt his phone vibrate in his pocket so he pulled it out and read over the message then looked up from his phone and made eye contact with Octavia and he nodded his head

From Randy: How do I get him to the house?

To Randy: I don't know. Tell him that you think you found something at this address then scare him into the house. Your a werewolf Randy you'll figure something out

"You guys should go do something I'm just gonna stay here. I got a big bio test coming up soon and o need to study for it" Randall says and Hamish raises his eyebrows at Randall but Lilith just shrugged her shoulders

"Your loss man" Lilith said with a laugh and Octavia, Hamish and Lilith got off the couch and began to walk towards the front door

"Bye Randy. Don't get up to too much mischief" Octavia calls out and then heads Randall running out of the lounge room towards them

"What wrong?" Octavia asks

"I didn't get a good bye kiss" randall says and pouts with his bottom lip and a of them other werewolves rolled their eyes at him

"God you are an idiot" Octavia mumbles and then kisses him quickly before turning back to the others "alright let's go"
