My Hero Academia One-Shots

Dinner

Set during the 2 month time jump from One Last Chapter.

Enji was reading a cooking book trying to cook something.

But he ended up burning it.

Fuyumi was walking by.

"Um dad is everything alright," asked Fuyumi.

"Um I was trying to cook something but I ended up failing I'm just going to get take out," said Enji.

"Um okay. Can I ask you a question?" Said Fuyumi.

"You may," said Enji while putting on his coat.

"Why are you trying to make dinner," asked Fuyumi.

"Um I never tried to make dinner so I tried to make some," said Enji.

Enji knew he couldn't tell Fuyumi that he was going to have dinner with Rei.

"Well next time if you need help ask for it," said Fuyumi.

Enji wave goodbye and headed for a restaurant near the hospital that does take out and on his way there he stopped to buy Rei's favorite flowers.

He just ordered and picked it up.

Enji was about to leave when he heard someone call his hero name.

"Endeavor," said someone.

Enji turned around and saw The Wing Hero Hawks.

"How are you doing, Endeavor," said Hawks.

"I'm fine Hawks, what are you doing here," said Enji.

"I love the chicken here," said Hawks.

"I have to go, see you around," said Enji.

Hawks just wave.

'Looks like Endeavor has a date tonight' Hawks thought to himself.

Hawks had a feeling mostly because Enji was holding flowers.

Enji just got to the hospital and checked in with the office and went his way to Rei's room.

He knocked on the door.

"Come in," said Rei.

Enji came in.

"Enji," said Rei with a smile.

"Hello Rei, you look nice tonight," said Enji.

"Thanks, you look handsome," said Rei.

Enji put the food on the table.

"Just to let you know if Fuyumi tells you that I tried to cook but I almost burn the house down its was because I tried to make dinner," said Enji.

Rei quietly laugh.

Enji was about to give her the flowers.

Then he looked up and saw the flowers he gave her last time he saw her.

"I forgot I already gave you flowers," said Enji.

"It's fine Enji there is still some room," said Rei.

Rei took the flowers and put them into the vase.

They sat down at the table and ate and talked.

And that's how Rei slowly began to forgive Enji.
